"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

In the past I have spent a lot of time reading this website and the truths that it tells, and I think it had contributed to my cynicism of the world. I can't be in a social setting without analysing all behaviour and I see people as the products of their insecurities. I don't quite know what I would be like if I never viewed this site - a lot more naive I guess, but perhaps happier. You see, in the past I was quite socially retarded and had little success with the ladies; now I am similar, slightly more success with girls (not a lot) but the main difference is that I am aware of the problem...and I face up to it. This is what causes a new kind of unhappiness. Now I am aware that most people go through their lives making excuses as to why they never achieved their potential, they reason things out by saying things like 'oh, im not interested in money and being flash, I'm happy with my average wage job because its honest' or something, people reason that 'oh I like fat ugly birds, besides a fittie will never go for me, wow I sure am glad fat mavis asked me out, now I can plan my future with her'

It sickens me that so many people live their lives in quiet desperation, in denial about whats really going on. It really is easier to live making excuses, but damm it, its not real life.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Hey there Mr. Fantastic.

When I first read your post, a little "aha!" went up inside my head. I agree to a certain extent that reading up on the stuff around here tends to make us err towards a more cynical point of view towards people.

I'm not quite sure what to say about that- reading up on all the stories about cheating and infidelity certainly doesn't make me feel more secure when/if I get married. In fact, a few of the posts go on the lines of "All woman cheat. Trust me, I've seen it happen."

The problem is that the poster's who say that only remember and focus on all the girls who cheat- and magically "forget" about the millions upon millions of girls who rejected him, etc. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that the stuff on this site is no more of an accurate portrayal of the real world than Disney films. Remember, it is PEOPLE making these posts- and people SUCK at painting an accurate picture of reality.

You mention people living a life that ain't real. Well, guess what, neither are we my friend. We're not living in reality, we're living in our heads. Don't get a big ego simply because we know a little more about how social sh*t works. I'm willing to bet some dude on a "Nutrition forum" is dissing us about our eating habits, or something WE are ignorant about. ("can you BELIEVE how much CHOLESTRAL these sucka's are eating?!?!?")

Anyways, my advice to you is this- forget about other people. So what if other people are insecure? You've got enough trouble handling yourself, no need to help others worry FOR them. Focus on yourself, and make yourself the man that you've wanted to be. THEN, you can start helping others see the light, etc.

If you don't think this site is helping you, then leave! (although this place is pretty darn entertaining, I must admit)

The only thing that will help you is Action! Take action, and improve yourself! G'luck mate!

I went through that phase as well. The "I can't believe the dark reality of love" phase, that is. However, I got through that phase once I realized that all the melodramatic pieces of bull$hit that appear on this site every now and then are just the rantings of lazy pessimists who aren't seeing the kinds of results they had hoped for. They're not worth paying any attention to, because with their mentalities, they will never become true DJs.

Women are not the enemy. Women are not evil. Women are not out to make our lives miserable. They are just biologically programmed to respond to the "dance of seduction" in a way that many guys have not learned to handle. Don't think it's fair? I'd be willing to bet that fat, ugly chicks don't think it's fair that guys place so much emphasis on looks. But beyond drastic measures like plastic surgery and the like, the ugly chicks can't do much to change their circumstances. Us guys have it SO much easier, because so much of our success with women is based on our character, and it's far easier to make big changes to one's character than it is to make big changes to one's appearance.

Anyway, don't give up on this site just yet. Remember to always keep a positive outlook on everything, because that's part of what being a DJ is all about! Work on improving your inner game first, and THEN focus on all these nitpicky little tricks and tactics like neg-hits and fractionizing compliments and all that garbage. Believe me, they're nice from time to time, but they will NEVER bring you as much success as a strong inner game will.

This really stuck out to me, I was thinking about this the other day. Just thinking about how everytime i'm in a conversation i'm thinking "am I doing this right?" But then I think, damn, you know those guys in the movie, who just know everything about everyone, who just has the advantage over everybody? I am that guy. Think about it, I can seduce any girl, and become the alpha male in every group, your doubting this?

Stay up man.

Everywhere you want to be.... I'm like a Visa card
You say that now you see your own problems and insecurities, and they make you unhappy. Well, good. They should. You were probably a sad little person like most people here start off as. But that's ok. Its actually great! Why? Because you get to use your newfound awareness of your problems and such, and fix them! Use that unhappiness as motivation!! You know what's wrong, and you have the material here to make it right, now all you gotta do is DO IT!

Trust me, watching yourself as you improve and slowly become that guy you've always wanted to be will make you very happy.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
