wow, it makes you literally sick? I'm sorry to hear that.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
That's news to me. I have to have friends before I would have a girlfriend? That sounds ridiculous to me. I look for friends too but sometimes it just takes a long time for some people (like me) to find other people that connect with them well if you know what I mean.Originally posted by Hellboy
Good for you Friv, I saw your thread. Me and Sous are like horny little animalsDid you see this?
Caldus, don't 'try to open up to them more', just concentrate more on having a good time with them. If they have a good time with you, they will want to spend more time with you.
Cold approaches are fine if that's what you wanna do, but don't expect a girl to take you seriously for long if you don't have friends. Friends are essential if you want to hold onto a hot woman for any period of time. The cooler your friends are the better. And they must respect you, because she will pay close attention to this. If you find you're having trouble with making friends you actually want to hang out with, then maybe you should brush up on your social skills a little, or just relax more.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

This forum, the dating "game", "clubbin' ", online hook-up sites, having to regard every girl as potential "prey", sex, dating...the whole 9 yards.
I'm just tired of it. It's almost become a hassle to even think about women.
I'mma stop thinking about it (or try at least). Honestly, it wasnt' meant to be this much work, if it was, people wouldn't do it.![]()
