"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

That was pretty good. All those things running through our heads when all we need to do is just say hello and have fun.

Lol, I honestly would not have said anything to her. I would have continued looking at whatever magazine I was reading and listening to music.

I just don't find that people want to be "approached" like that all of the time. Usually, as long as I look cool and approachable, if they have something to say they will say it. Just like when I go to restaurants often such as drive-thru pick up, I NEVER hit on the girls at the window but for some reason they remember me and start flirting, hitting and playing with me lol.

But when I'm going out "sarging" then that's what the focus is on. If I'm in my normal everyday routine of trying to get from one place to another, I'm really not focused on approaching some chick.

Tenacity, it's a matter of throwing out a little bait when you find yourself near a pond.

That's why I always advocate small-talk throughout the day. The guy in the train could have just mentioned some kind of pleasantry, similar to what he might say to a man. That would be a way to test her temperament.

But most men would be sitting there, just like in the cartoon, completely preoccupied with her presence right beside him.

Most women these days still wait for the man to initiate because they feel it is improper for them to do so. I say don't let a good one get away for lack of bait.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I agree with Atom Smasher. Small talk is a great way to lighten up both yourself and the mood in those trains. If you do ask people today, most anybody will say how they're pissed off about everybody staring at smartphones, being ear-plugged etc. Man, public transportation is sometimes like a zombie party. So to chat people (yes! not just females) up a bit is actually a service to the community. ;_)

Yeah, most men would be preoccupied because most men have no social and dating life. That's why when they see an attractive girl they stop, stare, etc. like this is something that you have never seen on a recurring basis?

I just believe there's a time and place for everything. Just like when I'm at work or in professional circles, I see scores of attractive women but I'm not HERE to hit on anybody and if the girl (or girls) aren't receptive to me hitting on them (which you can never forecast), then that can turn out to be a disaster in terms of professional relations.

Just like when I go to my favorite restaurant, I don't hit on the waitress or the girl at the window lol. Again, she might like me and she might not, if she doesn't, then that hurts my ability to continue getting good service when I return there.

Why don't guys just set a time out on the side and then do all of your sarging, approaching, etc., during that time period? Do it in a way to where you can play the numbers game where you would approach about 20 women and get 5 numbers, and from those 5 numbers get about 2 dates and fvck close 1 of them? That's how I do it. It allows me to play the numbers game and when a chick isn't interested, then it just STOPS there, it doesn't cross over to messing up my professional network or the service I'm expecting when I visit a small business.

You see where I'm getting at with this?
