If a guy is truly happy, he wouldn't be posting here at all.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.

What does it say about me exactly?KingofHearts said:This post says way more about you than it does anyone else in this forum.
There are a few men in this forum that are married or are in LTR's that are happy with their relationships. Want to go crucify them too?Bluntmaster said:If a guy is truly happy, he wouldn't be posting here at all.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
I would be one of them.Kailex said:There are a few men in this forum that are married or are in LTR's that are happy with their relationships. Want to go crucify them too?

He must be doing something right if he's happy with her and loves his boy. They may not be married yet and have a child out of wedlock, but how many of us could have accidentely had a child sometime in our past? hmmmmm? I say good for him and hope to hear about his trip.
Holy Christ. Who's standards are we going by here? Yours? GODS? Judaeo Christian society?BigJimbo said:She is a tramp and the child is a bastard. If you are into that more power to you.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
alright alright, you got me on this one....i also hope he spent his vacation well!Kailex said:Rescue, what do you want him to do, turn back time?
And don't say NEVER, that's an absolute.
Specially when you said "HAS A CHANCE".
Either he has a chance and it's SOMETIMES or it's IT WILL HAPPEN and it's NEVER, but you can't have both.
And you can't say that an absolute applies unless it concerns hunger or death, which in this case, applies to neither.
I am one to usually agree with your views with a lot of things on this board, but for once, I'm just asking for some positivity. He came on here HAPPY about something and wanting to share it with us, but what do some of us do: Look for the negative in the situation.
Can't we just let him enjoy the MOMENT, regardless of the eventual outcome and what that might be?
I am pretty sure BB answered this already when he said part of what he was looking forward to was spending time (aka "dirty work") with his baby in a new place, showing him new things. Like a father should want to do with his next in line. His child. His blood. His son.Rescue Mission said:P.S. still don't understand why the baby couldn't have been left with the grandparents or something, so that backbreaker and his fiance could truly enjoy their hawaii vacation together
I think he has a kid,not a baby. There is a difference especially when it comes to vacations. Personally I think you have no facts and are just spouting unfounded opinions and conjectures and should probably STFU.Rescue Mission said:alright alright, you got me on this one....i also hope he spent his vacation well!
I also hope that he didn't spend any time during HIS birthday vacation babysitting and being responsible for his toddler child.......hopefully his fiance took care of ALL the dirty work, and let backbreaker truly relax........I also hope he had lots and lots of sex with his fiance while his toddler was asleep at night........i'd love for backbreaker to update this thread and give a Field Report about how his vacation went.
P.S. still don't understand why the baby couldn't have been left with the grandparents or something, so that backbreaker and his fiance could truly enjoy their hawaii vacation together
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Ahhh yessss....that thread. BB and I got into it pretty good lol. I still stand by what I said there btw, but if he's happy, then more power to him.Rescue Mission said:http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=131845&page=2
gets very interesting on post 33.........this guy gets a girl pregnant after dating exclusively only for 3 months........THREE MONTHS.......and yea, now it is clear to me why he decided to stay with her, and she is now his fiance....she trapped him quite nicely into getting exactly what she wants.....why is it, that after only 3 months of exclusive dating did you NOT push for abortion???
I haven't been around that much but now that I look at that thread, I knew me and you would get along in rl, great minds think alike - I agree with almost every point you made in that thread.cordoncordon said:Ahhh yessss....that thread. You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
