Well, first off, the background story *looks at people wander off elsewhere....*
I met a girl some 3 weeks ago, at a club.
She's one of my mates, mates 'Lil sister. (ah well, she's just 2 years younger than me..). We got along bloody well, she even pulled me up to the dancefloor.
She was VERY surprised when she saw my moves, bluntly said, I'm a DARN good dancer.
after a while, of dirtydancing with her, I tried to kiss her. (she did look deeply into my eyes and all that....).
Now, problem one. She moved her head sideways, so I only gave her a peck on the cheek..
BUT, afterwards, we all headed to a mates place for an afterparty (she practicly dragged me along).
At the afterparty, her (/%& cod blocking friend, complained CONSTANTLY that she was tired. So, at 5am, they headed home. I got a long bloody hug.
(and a number..)
Anyways, The thursday afterwards, I called her up, but she said she would be busy for the weekend (she works 'till late friday night, and she was going to a place with her family on saturday).
Same thing the week after that, but, she was also brooke. (oh, and busy again.. surprise!)
So, the week after that was last weekend, I was out of town for midsummer. When I came home again, She actually called ME! (it was a saturday), so I snuck in the question about heading to the clubs that evening, but she was to tired, (she'd just come home from the other side of the country basicly). So, dumb-arse me, just finished the conversation, saying something like; have a nice day.
I HEARD that she wanted to continue the conversation, but I *HATE* talking on the phone. (not just to girls, I just hate talking on the phone with ANYONE, including mates and family).
ON to the questions:
A friend of mine, is having a bbq party this saturday.
Should I do the pathetic thing, ie call her up (again) and ask her if she wants to come along? OR should I ask her (probably in vain, since she MIGHT be working) if she wants to head to my place on friday and watch a movie or something?
My mates, tells me their gonna give me a beating if I don't do anything about this girl, 'cause "she's totally into you!".
SO, Feel free to post any and all advice, and point out what stuff I did right, and what I did wrong, so I can correct it if I end up like this again. (I usually meet chicks in the clubs... probably due to the dancing.).
Should I do a DTB (Ditch the bi***)and hope SHE calls me again, or meet her somewhere?
