"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Just because you fail once doesn't mean you should give up. If everyone did that then we'd still be back in the stone age.

Also, just because a girl's family might be more important to her than going on a DATE with you, you're going to next her? Give me a break!
I disagree 110%, it is not meant to be negative, but to give DJ's good insight to that horrid creature of human origin known as the "uninterested female"....uninterested females will come up with any and all excuses in the book, not to spend "one on one" time with you. Many of them are "party girls" and would rather spend a Friday night at "Da Club" than dinner and drinks, followed by your or her place. Many simply wouldnt ***k you under any circumstances, and wont waste any time on you, but dont wanna come off as total biatches, so instead of being bluntly honest and telling you "I'm sorry, I dont find you even vaguely attractive" they say "Yes" and then a few days later call and cancel with some lame duck excuse like "I need to wash my hair that night.".....leaving the guy in a pissed off, and frustrated state, after looking forward to the date for a few days, and perhaps even bragging to his buddies about it.

That being said, it is better to weed out uninterested females, and keep to the interested ones. Uninterested ones are "ok" to be buddies with, and you know, it is not all totally bad to have female bros, sometimes they have other friends, cousins sisters, ect, who may be interested in you. I have female friends who I wouldnt mind getting naked with, but I know they arent into me, so instead we hang out, have a drink, ect. Sometimes it's good to have some female insight, but they are on a completley different level/planet than the ones I am sexually pursuing.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
