Well, actually....most "hunks" tend to be gay or favored by gay men. Dlist.com ...the gay only social networking site. Mostly youngish looking boys with their shirts off. Visit any gym in America. Majority are gay men. Even bodybuilders make money on the side by hooking up with gay men. Why? Because males focus on looks, while females look at a host of things.
Why does American tv focus on "hunks"? Because the vast majority of Hollywood is gay or bi. From photographers to actors and male models. The majority are gay or bi men. Go to any Drama department at any university. Mostly gay or bi males. That is why it is laughable when horny teenage boys look up to male actors. I bet most of those male actors like the horny teen boys as much as the horny teen boys like them!

Personally I have nothing against good looking guys, just a bit of jealousy that things are easier for them because of how they look.
Even though most will not admit it, women are very shallow. As long as a guy is good looking, really nothing else matters. Girls make it really easy for those guys.
If a dude is not good looking/average, he needs to have one or more of the fallowing; money, fame, power or some other form of high value.
