"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Ok I've been friend with this girl for the last six months, I wasn't looking for intimacy as I am just starting to get comfortable around girls, learning what makes them tick, I even helped her motivate during her tough days of job seeking ...

But, should I cut off all connection with this girl, if she's fgoing away soon? We talk on MSN daily, so can this still continue to happen when she lives to another city for a job? She doesn't have boyfriend, and doesn't hangout with boys, but has lots of girlfriends, and said would visit Montreal on monthly basis as her parents live here too..

So what should I do?

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

You should definately keep in contact with her bro! I mean why not? She sounds like a good friend so dont let her go! I have had friends move to the other side of the country going to uni and other issues but I still speak to them on a regular basis through msn, txt or calls and we do meet up when we get the chance. Just try to keep the friendship goin! :)

Keep up the positive attitude man. She's leaving, so what? You can still talk to her online although I'd reccomend the phone. I wouldn't get too attached on getting into a long term thing since she won't be around that often, but a short term or possibly fling type deal would seem possible. What are you looking for in this girl?

of those rare breed that always had cousins to hang out with, so never bothered making the real friends, so I am finally in the mode of changing that..

people shiver at though tof making girl into a friend but not me, I want real friends and I want them now, and if things go further then its bonus, but in terms of life expectations, I don't want a girl to be temporary, I want real friendships that aren't broken with such a low thing as feelings.

I will take the opposite approach, having girl as a friend is real cool....
