there are some similarities but the glaring difference is this one doesnt play the victim and isn't "depressed"

She's been burned by her drug-addled father who didn't love her properly. So she's seeking it elsewhere, while pretending to be the strong resilient type. Actions over words, always.

Yellow-amber flag. If you become the father figure, she's yours forever, so long as you remain emotionally unattatched and can deal with her sporadic behaviour and attention-seeking, which will likely escalate once she realises she doesn't get a rise out of you.

Damaged yes, but merely disordered rather than psychotic. Her problems are social rather than psychological. Genuinely disturbed people jump off bridges or in front of trains. Scars are just warning signs not to get too close, or the dog will bite.

In my experience, it's best to keep these types at arm's length, probably forever. They usually don't want to/can't be fixed, their attention seeking behaviours just adapt once a given behaviour doesn't gain the desired result. The sh!t may well get more extreme, especially if you become involved; take that as the voice of very similar experience.

Keep banging until you can't tolerate, leave your own emotions in the desk drawer and decide in advance what will be your own tipping point/get out clause.

yeah it's frustrating, like games for games sake.

I dealt with this one in the past around a year ago, situation was the same then so i said **** it, ignored for a month until she LTR'd beta bucks

no sooner she'd broken up she comes back to me, initially i wasn't going to get involved but she was at a drinks i was at and one thing lead to another.
