"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I was at the bar, talking with some of my friends, this chick I barely know came over and wanted a hug. I obliged.

Later in the night, she said she was leaving, came in for another hug. Then she bit me on the chest. I don't think I've ever been so enraged in my life. This is second time in the last month that some dumb broad has bitten me on the chest unexpected. I kinda flipped out on her, saying as many nastly things as I could. Then she's all "Well if that's how you are, we're not friends anymore.". Good!

I don't mind being bitten, but it has to be with my permission. I don't really care, but WTF?!?!

Am I wrong for throwing a fit?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

i guess it depends on how hard and in what mannor. If it was in a playful way I think it would be a good sign. Maybe say something like 'oh im sorry, did I say you could bite me?"

But if she left teeth marks thats not cool

I think she meant it playfully, but there are definately marks.

The girl is nothing to get worked up over. I couldn't care less about ever hooking up with her.

It was hilarious watching her tell me that she doesn't have a boyfriend earlier in the night.

Haha! I've had girls play bite me too, sometimes a bit too hard, but I've never flipped out over it.

If the girl who does it is unattractive to me, I'll just tell her "Look sweetie, I know you are attracted to me, but I don't know you well enough to have you bite me like that" Most girls get the message, if they don't I'll add "Look, how about you get 3 of your hottest friends over here for a chat, maybe I'll let them bite me" THAT always gets the message across :D

I don't know if it is a cultural thing but I don't really think it is acceptable behaviour for a guy to flip out and abuse a girl. I think it is far more mature and a DHV if you are cool about it and just take it in your stride and maturely tell them that what they did was wrong.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Tell her you don't like lovebites, unless your making love. Period. Tell her straight up you don't want to be bit in public again.

Pretty funny how you blew up though:p I don't know how to blow up like that anymore, I get weeeeird when I do. People get really scared, like FREAK, everybody stands back, this guys going to kill somebody pissed:p

"It was a lovebite"

I bet she had the whole frown, puppy dog eyse going on too. So cute, you could have made her YOUR b!tch right there.

HAHAHAHAHA....What's not so funny? If you did the same thing to her, you'd be arrested.

Don't apologize to someone who assaulted you....

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
