"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I'm just getting a little tired of her ****. I called her yesterday to see if she had to work today. She said she didn't and I told her that I got off at 3 o' clock if she wanted to hang out. She said "sure!" I told her I'd call her whenever I got out of work. I call her and she's at some restaurant and tells me she'll "probably" come over tonight. Probably? I'm sick of all these maybe's and probably's. She calls me back when she's done eating and asks me for the time, then tells me she'll be over in an hour or so. Give me a ****ing break.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Dude, she's just pulling game on you, the exact game you should be pulling on her. She's dragging you along for the ride, and if you keep complying with her, she'll lose interest very soon. You don't have to next her just yet. Just get your message across. When she calls back, tell her another friend called and spontaneously made plans with you, so you can't hang out. Don't let her know who it is. Let her assume it's another girl. This should momentarily pique her interest/emotions, but you got to keep along these lines for a little while before she starts devoting herself to you. BUT whatever you do, make sure you maintain COMPOSURE. Don't let her know you're bothered by her actions. Just work on shifting control of the situation.

That's exactly what I've been doing up to this point. I don't make any contact with her and then she calls me and wants to hang out. But whenever I'm the one trying to make plans, it becomes such a ****ing hassle. She has all these friends and it feels like she's trying to find some way to make me "fit" into her day.

If it happens all the time, maybe you should next her. It's an obvious sign of disrepect (when SHE does it, of course).

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Yes, if this is a consistent thing, nexting would be the easy solution. But i don't think it would hurt to bring a few more elements into the game. Even if you have been keeping communication minimal, you're still too available when she calls. It's almost like a form of passive desperation. Much more subtle than active desperation, but nonetheless desperation. Be as busy and social as she is, and not so willing when she calls. It would be best if you were working another girl simultaneously, but you could just act like it too. A little jealousy can go a long way. Def don't pursue seeing her, and when SHE calls, insinuate plans with someone else untill her interest level goes up. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose at this point.

Actually, last week when she was over, I jokingly made the implication that I had other girls, you know, just to get some kind of reaction. That definitely got her attention. "Your OTHER girls?" she says.

Yeah, but it's got to be more than just dropping the line. It's just like simply not calling her is not enough. These are "playing hard to get" games that most people learn early on. After a bit, you become pretty transparent unless you know all the subtleties. I think in your situation it's def best not to procede any further in this relationship untill you actually have another gril on the radar. Don't display any frustration with her, just put her on hold untill you find someone else, esp. a girl of lower caliber, interested in you. It'll make your game a lot tighter.

the reason I say this is bc all the symptons right now point to decreasing interest by her. Any further progress will result in low/no interest. Step back for a few weeks, regain composure, and find another girl before you proceed.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

what the hell did you say?

Did you ask for a specific time? God ask her "are you going to come over tonight? what time?" If she says she doesn't know or probably then say you'll see her some other time then since you're not going to wait around and instead find something else to do.

It's that damn easy. What you are b1tching about? She didn't do anything.

I think this is a big "next". She called me around 7 and told me that her friend's car broke down and that she'd call me back. Let's see, what time is it now? It's almost 10. She might have tried to call at one point when the line was busy, but I don't even care.

I'm confused. You called her and asked if she wanted to hang out? What kind of plan is that? Good grief.

If you want flakey responses then keep with the flakey propositions. You give her an unclear plan and she just followed up with an unclear response.

Next time pick a time, place and thing to do... and she'll say yes or no right then and there.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
