"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

My 3 month F Buddy is the hottest of my 3 plates at the moment, and I have started to get attatched to her. My problem is that she is so busy/unavailable, and would only see her once a week, sometimes twice a week but it is always me who sets up the meet and she has flaked a few times.

Today I was with her but it was with other friends also, so I didn't really get to spend time with her alone. But I did ask her to come to watch a movie on Saturday night at my house (tomorrow) and she just sort of said "err yeaah ok".
She says yes to meet up but never seems like she really wants to anymore.

She's told me a month ago that she doesn't want to fall for me because of issues with her and my ex, but she think she "may have already", and I feel like I may have for her. But I don't know why she seems to be backing off lately and has also stopped with the through the day non-stop texts.

Anyway, I have a feeling she might cancel tomorrow. I'm pretty sure there isn't somebody else involved. But may be cancelling so that she "doesn't get too close" to me.

So with it just being a casual conversation where I asked her to come over tomorrow night, do I text her through the day tomorrow to make sure?

I'd prefer to wait until about 5pm and text if she hasn't yet.
What would I say if she doesn't text me to confirm?
And how would I react to her if she was to say she can't make it?
Thanks

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Don't make it a formal reminder. Just strike up conversation, draw her in and then casually throw in: "Don't worry, I'll tell you about it tonight. See you around 7!"

Just a thought If the girl is loosing IL slightly shouldn't you bump her down on your list of broads. If shes flaky you shouldn't set her up for a Saturday IMO She now knows you have nothing planed for Saturday, If anything you should cancel on her and say something came up and schedule for a Tuesday or something.

also I found this post you may want to read. Seems legit if shes been flaking .

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

If she's coming to yours to watch a movie, tell her to bring popcorn, simple.
