I really hate your circuit day man - ever since i tried it ooh man it sucked the big one! Did 4 rounds in about 20 minutes, I nearly puked!
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Me too man, many a time I've been laying on the couch afterwards for a good 20 min wondering whether I actually would or not...haven't yet lolPurefilth said:I really hate your circuit day man - ever since i tried it ooh man it sucked the big one! Did 4 rounds in about 20 minutes, I nearly puked!
Thanks, and it is lol, you should try it sometime just for kicksRiceandChicken said:Good work Stig. That circuit looks pretty dang rough.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Exactly. With the chains being about 50% lighter at the bottom, as you go up the weight is actively going up, which I think builds some explosiveness and might help the lock out, which carry over when not using chains. We only have 2 big chains at our gym, 20 lbs each, so when you're at the bottom, the weight is ~20 lbs lighter.Krueg said:Looks like a strong session for not feeling up to par, good work! Thanks man, might have pushed myself a bit too hard because I felt lightheaded and dizzy after almost every set, and sometimes my vision would fade a bit, but it is what it is, I feel alright now.
Havent personally used chains myself cause I don't think I'm at that point yet. How's the carry over to your regular bench? I'm guessing the weight is a little lighter at the bottom and heavier at the top?
Thanks Krueg, and yeah working on endurance and hypertrophy. Even though they're only 3 rep sets, I only rest about 30 sec between sets, and squeeze out every last drop of good form I have when it starts getting reaaaal tough (which is around the 3rd set).Krueg said:Nice volume on the deads! Working on speed on your back-off sets?

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
