"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Asking somebody out this way does indeed require BAWLS... and stell uns at that.
Why?

Coz you have to run the risk of looking the fool and seeming like a loser

But I say:

"There aint no such thing as a loser. Theres the WINNER and the guy who had the balls to at least TRY and beat the winner"

Try it anyway guys.
At a local drinking venue i spots me a pretty peice, she a peice O prime rib ;)
She has the most beautiful brown eyes, and other equally amazing assets   :D

So this was my approach, the attitude was one of joking around or C+F as you guys so put it.

Me: Hi
Her: Hi
Me: Here, i'll have X X and X (whatever i can afford)
Her: That'll be X X X

wink

Me: Anyway, i was hoping you could help me?
Her: Yeah sure
Me: Well, you see, my friend over there "Paul"? (I point to table at the other end of the drinking venue)
Her: Yeah
Me: Well, I asked HIM if he could ask YOU out for me but *he is really shy*

Brief interuption: ** can be replaced with, i dunno, "he always fvcks these kinda of things up", "He's too drunk" etc

Her: Huh? *Laughs*
Me: So...I figured I should come her and do it myself.
Her: Really?
Me: Oh yes, we should go out sometime you don't want to let my friend down by saying "No" do you?

Needless to say i had the last laugh lol

Another cool home brewed way of asking a lay di out is:

Me: Hi
Her: Hi
Me: House it goin?
Her: Great, you?
Me: Oh, i get along ;)
Her:*Laugh*

More general talk

Me: So on a scale of 1 to 10 hows your night going
Her: Oh, um, i dunno lol. Er, 7...What about you?
Me: Well, it was a 5 going onto a 4 until i met this enchanting woman at the bar who's beauty and elegant conversation sky rocketed it up to... an 7/8
Her: 7!?...8!? What about 10?
Me: lol Well, you'll have to do something preteyyyy amazing to get a 10 ;)

In the words of Quagmire- Awwlrigghd!

Please don't reply dissin my technique coz it does me wonders...however replies telling me just how amazing I am will suffice ;)

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Actually I really like those, the second fits in with my style completely. The first one, well next time I am single I'll have to remember that one.
My friends and I actually have approached pretending one of us was approaching for a friend when we are really approaching for ourselves. It works pretty good as well(girl gets to feel special because she "came between" two friends and one one of us over.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
