"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

k, so i got this hb10 on tinder. the best one i've been swiped for so far. i'm gonna treat this one like a landmind, and tread with caution.

my initial text: (reference to her 'about' which says that she may either lie or tell the truth at the same time) what you say may be a paradox but your beauty is undoubtable.

her: oooh thank you ^ ^

what should my next line be? should i go with another joke or straight for the small talk?

i got 'np. me on the other hand, always try to tell the truth. what do you do here?', 'just an honest observation.', 'so what's a lie that you told today? please don't say that you don't exist ' something along that line.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Why would you "go with" another joke or small talk? Neither of these approaches are honest, its you putting on an act and you both know it.

Be straight up, tell her to meet you or get some real convo going, and move on to the next.

Unfortunately, based on the fact that you're already overanalyzing a girl who you've never met and has said 3 words to you, id say your odds at this point are close to zero.

Exactly, the problem isn't what to text next... it's that you're so consumed by it. Until you realize this, what you text back is irrelevant.

hahaha i know i'm obsessive, dudes. otherwise i wouldn't even be here. i also have zero experience in these things considering i started my adult dating life for the first time last month.

just asking her for her job, hobby is boring as kcuf tho, no?

and i thought i was suppose to open with a joke. question is, how far do i carry it?

You're not "supposed" to do anything, the point is to enjoy meeting and dating women.. not go through premeditated questions/jokes like a checklist with her.

Theres nothing wrong with asking about her job or hobby per se, but online it is difficult (though possible) to establish rapport and get an extended convo going without it fizzling out or you looking needy. If she is not saying much back or seem generally interested in talking to you then go right for the date and move on.

But just relax, keep it light, have fun, escalate it to a date sooner rather than later.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

i did that with some other girl and she was like 'but let's talk more'... then fizzed out after couple more exchanges.
