I went with Lauren to the movies today and we both knew we liked each other, so on the way home, I asked her to be my girlfriend, being so sure she'd say yes. But she says "That's really complicated now." I asked "Why" and she said "Because of Danny."

DOH!!!! Lauren said that Danny likes me a whole lot also and that shedoesn't want to hurt Danny's feelings. She said she wants to go with me, but doesn't want to hurt her friend.

This **** sucks! What should/can I do? Should I talk to Danny myself or just let them work it out?

I've really started to like Lauren and it would suck if it ends this way. Lauren said she'll try to answer my question tomorrow, but I'm wondering if it's that simple....?

I think this has officially turned into a problem!

Umm you came right out and asked a girl to be your girlfriend? Read the bible, homie. There is alot of good stuff in there. You dont ask a girl to be your girlfriend.

I've read most of the Bible and what is wrong with asking a girl to be your girlfriend? Everyone was saying how she wanted to go with me and I've had girls lose interest if I wait too long to ask. Also, in my last relationship, we were making out and stuff before we were "official" and a few days leter I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said that if I hadn't asked, she would have told me we should just be friends because she doesn't like making out and stuff with a non-boyfriend.

BTW, Lauren said yes today.

Congrats!

Also asking a girl out is nothing bad. It makes sure nobody makes illusions for themselves. Then again when it just happens there's more magic in the air ^_^ .
