"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Look, there is nothing wrong with choosing to remain celibate. Nothing at all. In fact, I can admire that level of self-restraint.

But of course, there are those people who cant help but ooze out condescension when anything sex-related comes up in conversation. These types are usually (always?) women, who are either reformed Christians, or born-again Christians that for some reason beyond me think it is better to wait until after marriage to have sex, or wait until a SERIOUS long-term relationship has been established first.

Now before I lay down any smack, let me say right now I have no problem whatsoever with this philosophy, just the way people convey it as the superior path and condemn, ever so subtly, anyone who has sex outside of the above boundaries.

In fact, I would extend this to any religion or philosophy that is rooted in peace and benevolence. As long as you are not encroaching on other's freedom, you have every right to believe or live however you want. That's the premise of liberty, after all. BUT---when you start espousing your personal habits as fundamentally more righteous than mine (even if they may be) you are going to get blasted. No one likes a pious do-gooder.

Which brings me to the sanctimonious reformed virgin female---the ever-annoying harpy that can kill a boner with a single glance. The SRVF, as we'll call her, has built upon her lonely, wrinkled vagina a pillar of perceived superiority on which to stand and rain judgment on anyone who enjoys what she has chosen not to. You see, the SRVF is not a true virgin, she once knew the d!ck and probably loved it. She may have been a total slvt, or maybe just your average girl, but because of a personal or religious experience she has chosen to remain celibate. The choice in itself is fine; but, unable to cope adequately without one of the most natural and enjoyable of human interactions---sex---she becomes not only agitated (as people do when they arent getting laid) but she becomes a little bitter towards her friends and family who are enjoying the pleasures of one of God's greatest gifts. The SRVF typically finds a way to better cope with her sexual exile, usually in the form of a small dog, which she disgustingly babies to the point the poor beast has no control over it's own p1ss anymore. They find sex seemingly disgusting, crude, and offensive to talk about in almost any context.

The SRVF is also a selective misandrist; taking the woman's side in any scenario presented to her no matter what her level of involvement or knowledge of actual events. Telling the SRVF about your recent split, in which you were dumped, brings a smug satisfaction to her face as she revels in your emotional suffering and reminds you in roundabout sort of way that you 'deserved it'. They love to see men suffer, as they secretly yet truly believe men are the root of all evil.

A word of advice to newbies: any girl that makes you 'wait' an unreasonable amount of time (for general purposes we'll say more than 5 dates) is NEVER worth the wait. EVER.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Why do people like yourself enjoy complaining about this? Is it jealousy? I mean, you are just as judgemental as the people you are trying to portray as judgemental.

You said it all right here:

So what's your issue? Far be it for someone to try and better themselves in their own way, and then actually be proud of themselves for it. And so what if they want to share their newfound happiness with you? Just tell them you aren't interested.

It really is that easy. And yes, I am a Christian. I've been getting that treatment all my life, and it's almost like others WANT to create this universe where I'm a do-gooder and look down on them, when it's not really the case at all. Jealousy is the only explanation I can come up with, because I never tried to act that way, yet they say I did. Someone is wrong here.

Born-again virgin broads are "reformed" slvts. Of course they are hypocritical and are a pain in the arse.

There are no such things as born again virgins.

Its just a Christianity™ marketing gimmick aimed at remorseful guilt ridden slvts.

I think of it like smokers. If you've never smoked, that is your choice, but a former smoker is on a crusade with a self righteous attitude.Never smoked[except some cigars] and don't like it,but you ought to hear my dad[former smoker].

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Dear Collossus,
Oh how I sympathise with you on this brother, but even if in our society such puritanical behaviour to gain respect, can be cloaked in Christian garb,if you examine the Scriptures carefully sexuality is treated quite lightly compared to greed and avarice, alcohol is another case in point, the Bible is quite sympathetic and at times even encouraging of those who need to drink, but it all gets twisted up within the cultural morality of a society, that could in some cases even predate New Testament Religion...It is the Nature of all religions and philosophies to attract the Ascetic,if you sacrifice the pleasure in any activity to some higher cause, then you attain worth...A new philosophy older Women often get roped up with is Yoga, which can often involve a Pantheistic involvement with manic Environmentalism and a loose connection with various way out Religions from Bhudhism to Wicca.....My last wife first gave up Alcohol, then meat, then became Vegan, then gave up sex,in that order,at the time of her leaving me,I was cooking normal meals for four,a vegan meal for her and a less strict vegetarian meal for eldest daughter who was following in Mothers Footsteps...Why Dogs leave home.

You are a Christian?....LOL...!!!

WTF are you doing on a Pickup Forum..???......LOL!

Jealously....?

....More like disdain for you and your cohorts pious attitude(s).

Do everyone a favor and go to College. Get an education (and don't pick up religious studies). Try studying Biology or one of the Sciences....or maybe try Business.

Its all good discovering your inner self through whatever channel you chose, whether thats religion, meditation or something a bit more wacky, but you cant impose your chosen lifestlye upon others or measure them by the same scale you measure yourselves. Alot of women that sleep around do have self esteem issues and the SRVF's compare themselves to other women to make themselves look better.

Having a strict islamic upbringing and being of south asian decent, crossing the morality scale is far easier than other religions and cultures and I do sometimes think I should do the born again virgin thing, but then I dont have the will power to follow it through. However, if I did do the born again virgin thing, i wouldnt impose my lifestyle choices on anyone else, as i dont regret them. My past makes me the person I am today, and I think I have turned out okish.

Yes. Although I don't like the word "religion" at all, as it almost makes God trivial. Just my beliefs and I will not get sucked into a ridiculous argument with the likes of john siegal, who, just like I posted, predictably came in here, read my post, and attacked me for it.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

John, I have a doctorate and make 200k a year and am a Christian.STFU if you don't know what you are talking about. We have the same desires as the rest of the world, we just try to control them better. Why a Christian would be on these forums-women are women. The better we understand them, the better we can find what we want in one.

The same media elite that bring you"girls rule, boys drool" have also denigrated Christians[because we dont buy their political world view]. They stereotype us as uneducated hillbillies. In my family, there are 2 Chiropracters,2 Lawyers,a Dentist, aPHD in education-who was Dean of Admissions at the local University, several college professors, a GS-17[government], a State Geologist,Bankers etc.

We aren't perfect and most of us don't claim to be[I've got a couple aunts that are like the SNL "church lady" though]. Just trying to do our best.

If you are going to unplug from the matrix, keep looking at all the areas the media/culture has steriotyped life-not just women.

For the record, I am a believer (in Christ), but I dont identify myself with Christian dogma. Growing up in the church, the hypocrisy and often imagined morality that people live by is unbelievable.
