It's that simple. This forums likes to go into ridiculous topics and specifics and intangibles but the more you care the more you'll fail. Once you reach s certain level of knowledge you'll be able to appreciate this statement. The universe gives you exactly what you want. You're scared of getting rejected, you'll get rejected.

Haha I love what you said. I agree to this to certain point though. You have to care because caring is good and it helps you achieve next level, but know at the same time that you are more than enough and you are doing whatever it is you are doing or going to do to just make yourself better for yourself; because you love it.
