"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

To anyone who read my other posts: I finally think i've gotten rid of the ex, with homecomming a show was that night so i just said screw homcomming and my date and I are just going to a concert that night.

My new problem: A diff chick who i've really been connecting with recently is completely into me, initiates kino, flirts like all hell, calls me while she's in the shower, etc. Thing is she's got a hella buff cousin who I guess is really protective of her, who goes to my school. The guy thinks i'm cool from repuation, never really met him. Problem is that that might change if i start doing anything with this girl...how would you handle the guy to make him leave it alone?

Gracias.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

How the hell does she call you in the shower? Clarify man. As for your problem, who gives a sh1t if he's buff. If you were married, and some "buff" guy came up and said he wanted her, would you just be a pvssy and run away? FVCK NO! You'd work out and improve yourself and make his ass know to stay the fvck away...etc...etc.

Yeah man, don't back down. In this case, just get along with him and start macking the girl. You'll eventually get his trust...plus unless he's one of those incest sickos, he'll want her to be happy and ****. That's all.

i mean she had water hitting the lower half of her body while she was talking to me on the phone.

And you misunderstand, he doesn't want her, he just sees her as a little sister, and is protective like someone would be of a younger sibling.

That **** happens daily to me, so I just stopped talking to male friends of the girls I mess with unless they are real close to me.

When you talk to male friends of chicks about different broads they start hating on yo ass just to get the girl. Sometimes her female friends will hate on you just cus you dont like them.

But I dont think ol boy will mind forreal if he gets ass too and aint no *****. Like if somebody wanted my cousin Ill hook him up, but Ill **** him up if he treats her wrong.

Got more options, so it isn't like this is a oneitis... just seems to me like if there's a simple way of getting past the cousin...why not ;) more advice anyone?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
