"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Well, I've read the 'Woman mentioning other guys' thread' but I just ran into something that I'm not sure how to take it. First off, I would like to say that I'm not reading into it at this moment as I just saw her where she works, and I was in a hurry.

It was in a coffee shop, and she was bringing my drink to me, and she said, "Why do guys always do that?" She had been talking to one of her coworkers; anyways, so I say, "Well if that isn't a stereotype." And then she says, "Well, guys always tell us that girls give them mixed signals and I told Fred (don't remember what name she said and don't care) exactly how I feel and he took it a completely different way. And it seems like that's happening a lot right now."

Unfortunately that was the end of that because I had to go and get some stuff for my lunch break at work today. Any interpretations or advice are welcome. Oh yeah, this babe is a hb6.5.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

she's thinking out loud and is messed in the head when it comes to understanding men.

stay away, this chic is nothing but trouble.

she's not confiding in you if that is what you are thinking. She's just caught up in her own little world and will yack away to anyone who will listen (and seems receptive to listening to her drivle).

She was just grumbling that another guy doesn't understand her. She's just communicating like a woman and he's just hearing her like a man. Happens every day and is why most of you are here.

I'm SO glad I speak/understand the languages of both sexes.

Thanks joekerre and wyldfire.

Wyldfire, I've seen several of your posts, and for the most part, they are very informative, and it's nice to know that you're here trying to help.

That referenced thread in my initial post was yours--and now I'm having a little difficulty finding it.

Thanks again, I'll stay away from this one.
