"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

Dude, stop obsessing about why you're not over the stripper. Let it go and you'll be over her.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Quite why anyone would have a thing with a stripper is beyond me, I'd have thought that given BigNeil's level of intelligence and decency he would strive to find someone better.

Still though I strongly disagree with the title of this post. You get over a woman by being a man and accepting that things won't always go your way life and then you climb back on the saddle and ride onwards and upwards to brighter horizons.

The title is ancient wisdom.

Not all BigNeil, I have been hurt by women quite a few times, but you see when you have burned a few times your body starts to become immune to it, so when it does happen the next time, it hurts even less than the time before. Eventually it doesn't really bother you anymore, granted I have never been in 'love' with women purely because I refuse to allow myself to go down that road of inevitable ruin.

Love is an idiot's game, a bit like gambling, I'd rather not play if it's all the same with you?

Perseverance, I've been dating women and dealing with broken hearts since you were born. I haven't found a way to avoid them, women or broken hearts, on both sides. I don't think I want to because it's a function of passion.

I wholeheartedly suggest for people to be single for quite a while to figure out who you are. Most people won't do it though because it is easier to get a new girl instead of figuring out who you are and working on oneself.

Your idea is easier BUT my way of dealing with it is much more rewarding. Both are acceptable but one leads to more rewards in the long run
A very hard thing to do but it is VERY true

I don't do it to be funny. It's because it's bigneil's core issue. He's a narcissist. He has this grand idea of himself and he was very surprised he fell for the stripper's BPD act. Now he wants to prove to himself that he has complete control over his emotions by getting over her as soon as possible. He's trying all kinds of theories to speed up the process. But it's not about her, it's about him. As soon as he realises he made a mistake with the stripper, realises he can't control all his emotions and just accepts them, he'll be over her in two days.

You accept your emotions and you deal with them. What you don't do is this ridiculous running from them. It's no coincidence that he thinks the only way to get over a woman is to get a new one. It means he cannot be on his own, but needs someone to project his inflated image on. As soon as he has another partner, the stripper will indeed truly be forgotten. Until the new partner breaks up with him and disaster happens again.

I'm not so arrogant as to pretend that a woman must have a personality disorder just because she didn't love me forever. Maybe she left me because she was smart. This woman was an unjaded sweetheart. There were no mistakes and I pray my next relationship is just as exciting.

The girl isn't important, YOUR personality disorder is.

Also: notice how you conveniently made yourself look great in your post. "I'm not so arrogant" (= "I am humble"), "She left me because she was smart" (= I am humble and mature). You're a narcissist. It shows in everything you say.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Personality disorder? WTF? You sound like the dysfunctional girl I recently dated. Everything had to be a f'ing emotional problem. Neither of us cares about mainstream sports but I told her, when I was a kid, I was a rabid football fan and when my favorite team lost the Superbowl I was really sad, even cried about it. But I haven't cared about football since the mid/late 90s. She couldn't drop it -- I must have had some underlying emotional problem because crying when your team loses the Superbowl must just be a way to cover up the problem. I was like WTF???

Don't turn molehills into mountains, geez.

Don't be an idiot. Girls with personality disorders date guys with personality disorders. Bigneil is one of those guys. Your story is completely different from bigneil who shows he's a narcissist in every single thread he creates.

I think there is truth to this. I think you can learn quite a few things about a person when you look at their partners, or dating history.

I just feel like, if you find yourself dating chicks that are wacko, you need to look at yourself. People who don't have emotional problems don't stick around dating wacked chicks, they move on as soon as they realize said chick is wacked.

Just like a girl who dates nothing but losers and complains there are no good men left. Obviously she's got some things she needs to work on.

If you start seeing a pattern in your dating life that you're not happy with, you really need to look in the mirror and evaluate.

You show your OCD in every thread he creates. Why do you give a crap if we know if he is a narcissist or not ? even if he is , and even if he is stuck on a stripper , at least hes helpful and gives advice , all you do is post about him ....
and talk crap

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

The reward is having tons of sex with lots of crazy, hot women for many years.

A 23 year old man can't understand what it's like to sleep with a woman 21 years younger.

What's that got do with a relationship? Can a man who is nearly at the end of his cycle not sleep with women through ONS and FWB situations? I fail to see what is so special about a relationship, marriage, 2.4 children and a house with lots of pretty flowers and a white picket fence.

Also another point I'd like to add is why so many men define how successful they are through women they have dated and slept with? Seriously is that the best achievement a vastly majority of men can muster? I wouldn't consider something as natural as having sex as being definite of whether or not I am successful or unsuccessful.

If you want to define your success on the women you have had sex with, fair enough, but I'd rather define my success through my career and the friends I keep.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
