We all have our goals to achieve in the new year.

I am one of them, but will I achieve them? Well have a look at my threads this year and especially my latest one. I will give it my very best. But, and I know this is a wrong attitude to start this new year, my hopes are very low.

I am getting very tired of who I am and how I behave. The latest example being I almost got run over by a drunk driver just recently. I did not react, I just let him go. I wouldn't have died since he was only going 5mph, but nonetheless could have sustained a serious injury. Looking back I should have pulled him out of his car and gave him my thoughts. Why I didn't do that? Well because I'm just mr. nice guy.

But here is my simple goal, to become who I want to be. And to try and not post for an entire year on this forum. Every single thread of me has been very negative, I want my next one to be a positive one. So we'll wait and see.

I wish you all the best and a very good year. And I want to thank you for the replies and advice you have all given me.

I hope to see you in 2018.

I think letting him go was the best choice. You weren't injured. These days you might have gotten more than you bargained for. Maybe he might have had a gun. Drunks don't make the best decisions. I would have gotten his plate number and called 911. Tell them that this drunk almost ran over me. Let the police do their job.
