The movie, "The 40-year old virgin"

I kind of wonder why there isn't a thread on this movie here. It covers several basic DJ principles, even if it doesn't go into advanced mackology.

There are 4 important male characters in the movie, 3 of whom try to help one of them, who is a virgin, to learn sexual skills and get laid. They are:

Andy, main character, 40 year-old virgin
Jay, Black player,
David, AFC with serious oneitis.
Cal, a dude who gets laid frequently via going after easy chicks.

While it's a comedy, I think it hits on some of the important scenarios, even if the guy didn't always do the "DJ" move at the time.

For example, in one scenario, the lead female throws the "no sex" test at him. He throws it back at her, she escalates, it gets out of control, and they end up with a 20 dates before sex agreement. Definitely not a DJ move on his part, but I've had the "no-sex" test thrown at me before, and it is something that anyone aspiring to DJ or PUA status has to deal with.

Did anyone see any good advice in it, or just have any useful comments based on it?

why did they make him wax his chest? don't tell me this script was written by some feminist dyke who wanted to brainwash men into thinking that doing the metrosexual thing like waxing your chest will get you chicks.

On a more serious note, some really hairy dudes wax stuff. My one high school spanish teacher used to wax his back cause it was hairy, and he pulls girls like no one's business. I know this cause we went to Spain with spanish club and went out to clubs, it was astounding to see the man mack on so many women.

It's just a style choice. Too much hair can be unappealing to some women. Some go for lots of hair, so it's just a thing.
