Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
The guys who commented on the page aren't all reading this...so my words would be wasted if they were directed at them.Deus ex Pianoforte said:Where are you getting that quote, Wyldfire? I don't see him saying that.
And you are of course talking about those comments on that page, right? Because I'm not bashing him. I'd just prefer to learn from history rather than "hope" he doesn't do anything with his weapons.
Deus ex Pianoforte said:Ok, then where's the quote that you posted of djSlvt? Who was bashing him? (And suggesting that someone receive professional help for severe mental disorders doesn't count as bashing.)

I think he does have some issues...but nothing that many of the guys here don't also have. He should probably address the issues differently, but I agree that those attacking him are doing so to make themselves feel better...and that's not cool.djSlvt said:It's ok to date and have sex with dolls. What's not OK is hating on someone who does that. Not so long ago they hated gays because they thought gays molest children. It turned out to be an ignorant thing to do.
There is only one reason to hate someone, and to put them down, that is to make yourself feel better and be accepted by the majority, aka being a sheep.
I don't think the guy has a problem. People with problems are way to hang up to make a video like that. He is proud of his life, proud enough to make a video and show it to the world.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
I think this guy is a lot more disturbed than the average guy on this forum. If I'm wrong, then maybe I need to hang out someplace else.Wyldfire said:A mod deleted a bunch of posts.
If you are going to label him as having a severe mental disorder then you also have to label over half of the members on this site as also having a severe mental disorder. That's the point I'm making.
Actually...he's really not any more disturbed than a lot of the guys on here...and frankly...he's even LESS disturbed than some. The dolls to him is what this site is for a lot of guys here. Is it healthy? Of course not. Is he hurting anyone other than perhaps himself? Nope. I find the guys who blame and hate on women for their own failures to be more disturbed than this guy...because he seems pretty content with his situation whereas the guys on here I just referred to clearly are NOT happy. If they were they would not be filled with so much hatred. Those guys are far more likely to snap and go on a shooting rampage than the guy who has sex with life like dolls.da_hunter said:I think this guy is a lot more disturbed than the average guy on this forum. And if you think having sex with a doll is 'normal', and there's nothing wrong with it - more power to you, but, no offense, please don't put yourself in the same category of psychological health as me. Maybe it's a respectable sexual outlet for you, but I wouldn't resort to that ever, I have too much confidence in my abilities to attract a sexual partner, and too much self respect to even consider it.
First of all sugarbritches...I am NOT a guy. Second of all...why are you so bothered about what some complete stranger does with his time? Does it affect your life? No. Is he hurting you? No. So what is the point? Does it make you feel like more of a man or something? If so...it shouldn't.da_hunter said:hey if you guys have had sex with dolls, that's cool. just come out and admit it. nothing wrong with it. post some field reports.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
The point he's making is that the fact that you care so much that the guy has sex with dolls would lead one to believe that you most likely have just as many issues to resolve as the guy you've got your undies in a bunch over. I agree with him. It's not about the guy in the video...the real question is WHY DO YOU CARE SO MUCH?da_hunter said:what? only in your inbred uneducated mind.
you're the one who's defending his right to have sex with dolls, remember? it's perfectly normal, according to you.
maybe you're related to this guy.
I don't recall anyone claiming the guy was "normal". I simply said that many of the guys here have the same Social Anxiety, lack of self-esteem, lack of confidence and fear of women as the guy who is having sex with dolls. I'm right.da_hunter said:'everyone' - as in you and wyldfire. i didn't see anyone else in this thread defending this guy's lifestyle as 'normal', as in 'most of the guys on this board are no better than this guy'. maybe that's normal behavior for you but not for me.
i'm better than that guy. if you watched this video and recognized something that you yourself may have done in the past, and you feel like this guy is on your level, then that's fine, but don't tell me that i'm also at this level. also who are you to judge the psychological health of the board? i should hope that most of the board is miles beyond where this guy is at emotionally. even the biggest afc virgin in the high school forum. maybe you're not, but again, don't drag the rest of the board down to your level.
Well...seeing as the rest of the guys are not still on here ranting about how messed up the guy is...it would appear that they are a level or so above what your behavior indicates you to be at.da_hunter said:no you're just an idiot. you claimed that people on this board have about the same level of social anxiety and low self esteem as this guy. maybe he is on your emotional level, but don't try to tell me thatme and the rest of the board are also at the same level as this guy.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
