"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Right. I know this board is here for us "old-hands" to help you new guys, but i am going to give you all a hand.

There is no substitute for real experience we can give you all the advice humanly possible, but when you see HB and try to talk to her, it all goes out the window and you can't remeber any of it. Why? because you haven't done it enough! Only by continually approaching can you know what to say next. What to do next. There should be no fear in approaching women!, they WANT to be talked to! That hot shop assistant has had only people asking her "what size are these trousers?" all day, she would kill for some stimulating conversation. If she seems like she doesn't want to talk, so what? leave her. You're hardly ever likely to see her again are you?.

My advice would be to get out there and approach as many women as you can. Don't try to get numbers straightaway, just take it in little steps. Hope this helps.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately too. Some people think that you have to rely on everything you've learned on this site to succeed, but that's not necessarily true. You have to go out and DO something. Get out there and talk to women and improve.

Well said. It holds more truth in those paragraphs then some of the HUGE post that take far to long to read to get less of the point across. Awsome.
