... is tremendous.

You can have a shallow or even stupid mother, you're still fine as long as you have a strong Father Figure - the man that you can actually look up to, have deep respect for, and learn from.

In the most ideal environment, this would be your biological father. But if you don't, this would be a mentor, an older friend, a guy who knows his stuff and give you the advices you need.

But if you have NONE in the first 20-25 years of your life, then believe me, you'd be psychologically and mentally FVCKED, big time. You'd end up not living, but rather floating through life like mindless children with little to no testosterone.

So, let's talk about how important having a strong Father Figure is. Thank you gentlemen!

Kind of a cope, but you can still find father figures/mentors through studying historical figures or current-day people you can relate to and learn from even if it's not direct and in-person (an example being this very board, people in your chosen field, or people who have excelled in your areas of passion).

But yeah, all you have to do is look at inner-city crime and murder rates to see the damage. Or your limp-wristed socialist at the grocery store.

One can also join the military, but how "fatherly" they are now is up for debate.

I have to disagree.

A Father Figure should be someone alive and close to you in everyday life, not some dead dude in books or some dude that's too far away.

Why are we focusing on things we have little to no control over? I didn’t have a father myself, and all the males in my family were beta providers. I always knew I wanted more and by my will I searched till I found pick up. I learned what I could and now I get laid.
I hate these kinds of victim posts. No one is a victim unless they choose to be.

You're one of a few lucky guys, doesn't mean the same for others. Don't get too c0cky.

It's not about focusing into what we can't control, but it's about raising awareness about the importance of a strong Father Figure. Learn the difference.

Its not a victim post when you try to work out where you are coming from and learn from your or others history.

Men might find wisdom in threads like this, they wouldnt have thought of on their own.

The big problem is, by the time you have figured out on your own whats "wrong" with you and what to look for, half of your life might be over. There is no substitute for a father teaching his son early on whats important.

Raised by a single mother. I'm ok.
Being ok isnt good enough for some of us.

Agree! It took me almost 40 years to find out what my father didnt teach me out of ignorance or because he didnt care.

A few years back i came to the conclusion that my grandpa, grand-uncle and a few elder neighbours i was around a lot when i was a kid, teached me more about being a man then my father.

When i took the redpill a few years ago, i became the little boy again and guys like Rollo Tomassi, Rich Cooper, Gonzalo Lira(Coach Redpill) became father figures that teached me so many important things about women. They teached me what i would desperately have needed to know from my teens on.

If i just knew all this shiat with mid twenty ......

Luck has nothing to do with it. I didnt happen to get laid. I put in the work to develop myself instead of find reasons why I should fail.

You have to think in general terms, not the exceptions.

Look no further than the riots last summer to see the result of fatherless 'boys' (none of them were men). Just vile idiots releasing their pent up testosterone (albeit low amounts on average, they are still young so it's high), out creating havoc and they don't even know why. Just screaming and hollering like the incels they are, trying to get someone - ANYONE - to listen to them. They want others to feel their hopelessness and frustrations. Unfortunately for them, nobody cares, which again is the source of their anger.

I agree. The importance is great. However, not critical.

I do think that having strong mentors, both dead and living can fill those shoes. I know guys on both ends of the spectrum. Ones that great up with strong father figures and due to various circumstances lost their track and ones that did not grow with strong father figures, or none whatsoever, and found their path.

Allan Watts and Jordan Peterson have been great mentors and very profound and personal for me. However, I do agree with you in one of your replies that having a strong masculine energy/figure walking alongside you is also very important, if not fundamental.

Due to Covid-19 and the manosphere, I often find myself counseling man via text, calls, etc but there is nothing more powerful than actually doing reflective counseling which is the opposite of dialectical counseling.

We, as men, are wired in such a way that we connect and learn from doing. Men do and learn and grow in the process of doing.

Alan Watts is great. I’m not a fan of Jordan Peterson.
There are also some good
Books like “ The Way of Men” by Jack Donovan.

“Way of the superior man” by dieda a wasn’t useful to me.

To me personally, so far these men have played the part of Father Figures to me, and I can proudly say reading their words and follow their teaching have helped me compensate for what I lacked from my biological father:

1. Corey Wayne
2. Jordan Peterson
3. Coach Red Pill

moms think everything is "Beautiful"

A girl can get pregnant within 2 weeks of meeting some loser,
and all the elder women in the social circle wont criticise her one bit, they will glorify it, she will get 300 likes on social media.

A dad would say "wtf are you doing".

women are incapable of guidance and advice as they dont get rejected from society

It's like saying: I played Russian roulette; I'm okay.

Some people are okay, other are not. Statistically speaking, you are far more likely to be okay if you come from a household where both parents are around.
