Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

In your journey of becoming the person you want to become, we've all had some bumps in the road, some more than others. It gets tiring after a while and may wear you out, and it feels like a chore a lot of times, sometimes even painful. The best way to fight against the current in just about every situation is to learn to love the pain thag comes in doing so. Feel the stress and pain (whether mental, physical, or both) on you and your body and know that you are getting stronger and tougher by every passing second. Love that feeling. You must WANT to get tougher. You will soon learn to love the pain the comes along with this toughness. Garner the strength and willpower to push through everything no matter how much it resists you. Learn to love the pain.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Agreed, but man is it hard to do with your heart. I am feeling perfectly fine one minute, then still missing her the next...

Physically, I can do this no problem. Mentally, it's like a rollercoaster. Maybe just shows how weak I really am...

Easiest way to make progress?

Go out literally tomorrow. Stop a woman in the street. Give her a compliment. Break the ice. See what happens. Do it a few times.

It will change your life.
Even just engaging in conversation with a stranger makes a world of difference in the mind. It is the night time and work I have trouble with...

;)

Mate, night-game sucks in comparison.

I walked around today like a superstar. I had girls giving me IOI's that I seriously doubt I'd get in the club.

The club is very contained, and based on social-circle game. I'm not into that sh*t. I am completely self-sufficient.

Trust me on this one, I seriously doubt that you understand your own value. I never did until I started approaching girls on the street.
I actually meant when I am in bed :D. I have had far more success recently gauging interest at the grocery store than anywhere else, especially the bar scene. I am referring to when I wake up at 2 or 3am and start thinking about the ex and can't get back to sleep. I suppose that will pass with time though...
