The color scheme of the page

I can't really suggest exactly what to change it to, but I've always thought the color scheme looked a bit childish. Maybe sharper colors like black or blue for the background would look better.

Not sure, has anyone else mentioned this?

Personally I like it the way it is. It's not wannabe-in-your-face and it's also not trying to look sharp or hip. The focus is on what is posted here anyway, not what it is posted on.

Just a thought.

Speaking form a purely fashion/style oriented perspective, I really like the light blue/white/Khaki setup. It's unassuming enough not to try to steal the spotlight from the contents on the page. After all, when you go out, do you bathe in your cologne, so everyone knows you wear it? No. Cologne, like background colors are to accentuate what's already there.

Furthermore, men from around the world come to this page seeking sollace from the harsh realities of every day life. The gentle earth tones provide a soothing, masculine backdrop which soothes the eye rather than grabs its attention here and there.

In summary, let's not put the cart before the horse here... My 2c.

I like it the way it is.

having ablack background is getting tiresome.. it's been done to death. I like it when a website actually uses some colours besides black, like with the tan, blue, and white colour schemes on the forums.

I'm guessing that everyone is talking about the forum. I don't really have any plans to change the color of the forum (as most seem to like the colors), but I am redesigning the site to make it look a little more professional and make things easier to read.

hey allen, while you'r redisigning the site anyway do you consider updating these forums soon to a better message board program? like www.ikonboard.com or a newer vbulliten..its not that important i know, but this one has some bugs like sometimes its not updating to show the new posts even with hitting refresh, and not storing the info and some other annoying things..
