Didn't end up going to Main St. Parents complained about it being too late and cold that nobody would be out there.

Did a workout last night and some homework to make up for the one that I missed...

Still torn between playing volleyball and quiting to have time for more effective workouts...

Going on a 2-mile jog in a sec for my cardio...

Debating on what kind of haircut I want...

@amohield: Thanks for the input, but I think the cut is starting to die down so there's not gonna be much to deal with on Monday seeing as I forgave him.

Jogged today, read a bunch of Pook's book. Didn't do much else, decided to get a list of my dreams together as well as some goals that help me reach those dreams:

Become a male model

Attend some go-and-sees/auditions
Get a headshot or a portfolio
Find an agency

Become an entreprenuer millionaire

Learn how to play the stock market
Find patterns in successful businesses
Think of a service that would be desired by society

Attend parties

Expand my social group, especially out of school
Surround myself with friends I want to be like
Please myself, not others (not really a goal, more of an overall thing)

Possibly become a porn star

Get laid a few times, figure out if I like it
Get one of those XLabs Penile Extenders
Move to the 818 area code or somewhere around LA

School dance on Friday at the A.I. HS. I'll be going in with little to no friends there and plenty of hot girls for the picking. Anything you guys would like to recommend about dancefloor game or whatever would be awesome.

Thanks for responding with those pictures DJ, I think those will be more useful than I could ever describe the hairstyle.

Also I'm aware of gay porn and penis enlargers. I thought the same thing until I saw a certain episode of MANSwers. The penile enlarger is a contraption that stretches the penis, you are supposed to wear it for 6 hours a day for a few months I believe. The return is about 40% length increase and blah blah girth blah blah curvature correction. Apparently it works because it was recognized on this show as well as a French university. If you want to look it up google XLabs Penile Extender.

Gay porn is not something I would ever do in a million years. But this guy Emanuel Ferrera does straight porn and makes about $100k a year off of what he does. I'm not saying it'll be easy, but if I could achieve that it would be unreal.

So I read something in Pook's book that really resonated with me...doing things because I want to and not trying to please others.

This makes me lean more towards quitting volleyball to pursure weight training, getting a short haircut, auditioning for my modeling and laying out plans for a small business I may want to pursue if I can eliminate risks when I get older.

My day wasn't very important so I won't rant about it, but I'm starting to really want to make drastic changes in my life to satisfy myself. I'll tell you guys how that goes ;)

For business: You do have to sacrifice your security, I dont think there's a way around that. Read up on business books *Anthony Robbins*

You dont need a machine to enlarge your ****, and its definately possible, even without one. I wouldn't do it myself tho, the changes are irreversible.

Haircut:
I got the wax he's using at 5:08. The extreme titanium one. It's really good, but you have to apply it fast. The more crrazy you go on your hair; the better it looks. I dont use wax anymore tho.

I thought I looked pretty awesome in all of those photos untill I saw the pictures later. (Apart from the one where I actually used wax back in Norway). Not using wax hasnt done anything bad yet, and its more about how you feel about it.

And yeah, I just realized I was really bored..

Hey I'm going to bed in a sec so I just have a few things to say, I'll do today's journal sometime tomorrow...

This is mainly aimed at Norwegian since he does Starting Strength:

I plan to do SS tomorrow for the first time, I need to know specifically when I take my breaks during the workout? Like is it after 1 set of an exercise, after all 3, or after doing a set of each exercise? Feel free to tell me anything else I should know about the routine.

SELF REMINDER: Put the pictures DJ Hero posted on my phone in case I get a haircut tomorrow.

Quickie: I'm going to quit volleyball to pursue my bodybuilding passion :)

Start out lighter than your 5RM on all of them, if you know your 5RM. If not, then keep loading the bar untill either your form gets bad/bar slows down.
Increase weight by 5-15lbs per session.
3x5. Pause between each set. You dont have to do all 5 reps without a tiny break (What I mean is that you can take a few breaths between reps if desired, just dont put down the weight). I have long breaks, always have. I have breaks from 2-5 minutes. Your breaks should be as long as you feel you need them to be for you to do the next set.
Deadlifts come to a dead stop between each rep (You put it on the ground).
Have something like getorade immediately after your workout (Not during!).
Doing a few sets of abs immediately afterwards is recommended for beginners (5-12 reps).
Yeah. Eat a ****load.

Right now the ONLY thing keeping me from quitting at this point (aside from all the disagreement I'm getting from my parents and a few friends on the team) is the fact that the school weight room is closed on Fridays...

So should I just pay $10 a week on Friday to go to my local fitness center?

I'm going to talk to my football coach about quitting volleyball to weightlift and see if he has any input.


Will do journal entry later today, gotta get ready for school.

Because football was part of the reason I took up weighlifting. And because I play football in the fall and wanted to see what his thoughts were about it.

And Norwegian I'm still committed to my original plan, I'm just wondering to what extent I should heed his advice.

I don't really remember much from yesterday except for the fact that we had a volleyball game that we lost. My personal performance was excellent, but seeing as I'm not a starter and didn't play much it wasn't much of a factor...

Boring midterms, aced em both.

Talked to my coach about the volleyball thing as some of you already read. Tomorrow I won't be quitting since I don't have practice, tomorrow will also be the day that I stay after school and pick up Starting Strength for the first time.

Might get a haircut today if this storm lets up, if not tomorrow is ideal. Trying to clear up some blemishes on my foreheard, slightly insecure about those.

Not much to talk about today, although I'm going to start a document right now adding up the amount of time I drive every time go out on the road to see my progress toward my hourly requirements.

Gonna read Pook's book, check opinions if anybody replies to this, and just sit in my darkened bedroom with the window open while I listen to this thunderstorm...

I know this is a day late, but sosuave wasn't working last night so yea...

Got my haircut yesterday! It's so f***in sick! It looks great, I put wax in it and when I walked into my house I got some awesome reactions.

My SS workout didn't go too great:

It took me too long to find my 5RM for squats and bench presses that I didn't even get to start my deadlifts...

3x5x175 squats
2x5x135 bench
0x0x0 deadlift

So yea...

Planning to quit volleyball this morning after I talk to my volleyball coach about making time at practice to weighlift. If no I will have to quit, as painful as that will be, and as bad as it will be to be labeled a quitter.

So yea, I'll update this again later after my dance tonight ;)

You shouldn't start at your 5RM, start lighter, like 70-80% and work your way up to your 5RM in 2-4 weeks.

This isn't my update but I wanted to get back to DJ and well...DJ

I didn't quit today because my varsity coach is still away. I simply didn't come to practice, seeing as I'd not want to talk to the jv coach about it.

I don't know how to post my hair up on this site, so if you tell me how I'd be more than happy to. Some of the reactions I got today were hilarious!

EDIT: So the dance is tonight. I'll be stepping into an unfamiliar school with tons of hot chicks and a few people from my middle school that I don't like so much...

Any tips for tonight aside from obviously having fun?
