What is up with popular culture today jamming our brainwaves with beliefs from thousands of years ago?

I know to this day that there are hidden subcultures that cross the globe. You can't learn about them because nobody teaches it, they are too afraid of the controversy and crass judgements that are to ensue...

Of course being outspoken is a way of life for anybody who cares about their own life. Than there are the people who must remain queit as to conceal their own...

Gangs, thieves, bumpers, cons... etc.

These people live their lives in general solitude, they live life as though nobody knows they exist.The structures of life are concealed from the general media due to scrutiny and laws that are in place to protect the remainder of cultures sense of pride. There are laws against every news syndicate in the world against spreading false information as being true. The problem is, unless it is proven beyond a doubt, or is popularly accepted, than it is labelled as wrong...

Just as in our criminal court systems, people fight to prove innocence, the media fights to prove reality. Many people in the world argue with the methods of the media, others widely accept it and blindly follow. Than there are the inbetweens, the people who take everything at face value, and compare it to their own lives and realities... the dangerous people.. the DJ's.

What is up with censorship?
Why are our lives controlled by protection?

Why is it that society would 'crumble' without a policing force we call the government?

i don't think i've ever seen the "ethnometologist" post a single field report. Yat he makes 14 posts a day. Now i don't mind that at all (i haven't done too many FR eather), i just have yat to see something usefull come out of all those posts...

I only post mini reports. The only field reports I post are the ones that I can't understand... I have other reasons to pursue the DJ way. Yesterday, I got hit with an epiphany, but if I say anything about it, I will only be faced with criticism and brash judgement that doesn't apply to my situation.

edit: Oh yeah, and if I had a negative reputation, a post count of zero I would be content. I am not being an attention wh0re If I could do this from behind the lines, in a discrete fashion where people stopped pointing out my indescrepancies in the amount of time I spend online, I would be happier.

The only way I have ever been inducted into a secret culture is through subtle hinting. I have never been able to DJ my way into a new group, I have to display integrity, and knowledge before the possibility of my actions making the group sour arise.

I am not passionate about any of the groups though. This is the only private community, I am privy to.
