Well, while we're playing the "I'm smaller than the average woman game":
5'7", 125 lb, 30" waist, body fat probably in the 5% range. Only 5 guys out of 100 are this slim. But guess what, I find nothing particularly noteworthy about women weighing more than many men the same age. They just have more ass-ets: bigger thighs, bigger asses, big chests, more body fat, etc. Here is the weight chart for American men, showing weights through age progression: http://www.halls.md/chart/men-weight-w.htm
For women: http://www.halls.md/chart/women-weight-w.htm
So 140 lb is about right overall, but still a little high for women in their 20's. 135 lb is more like it for women in the 20-30 age range. Initially I imagined women in other countries having an even lower average weight, and while a quick search does confirm that women in most countries are somewhat slimmer than American women, it looks like the average weight is increasing in many other industrialized countries (like France, Germany, England) just as it is here, though probably at a slower pace. The sad truth is, people are getting fatter.

A 35" waist, isn't that a women's size 18 or 20? That's not a petite woman! :nono: Besides, we aren't talking about chest or upper body mass, we're talking about the circumference around the waist.
Haha, morning cobwebs galore! Yeah, I was thinking chest/hips, and was more focused on the weight. My bad

I think the wide-assed women from the south and the east coast must be throwing off the measurements. Most of the girls here in the CO are slim as fuck.

Oh no we are going to drown in a see of fat girls!!!!

Guys, look like we are just going to pick up our game to get the slim ones. ;)
I guess on the flipside guys are getting overweight too, so that might mean less competition.

BTW I'm not going to touch a fat chick. It's sad how everyone who is fat blames everyone else and rarely takes responsibility. But it is human nature.

Still girls definately don't need to be sticks to be attractive. Thought?

Oh and what do girls hate more, really fat guys or skinny guys?

do you think growth hormones have anything to do with obesity?

Nah, just the fat. Sedentary (sp?) lifestyles, cheap fast foods and such.

Beware the Fat Goblin!

That is what I mean. They shoot cows up with growth hormones to get them bigger faster.

Reasons:

1. More cow = more $
2. Faster Growth = Less care Costs & Faster Turn around time.

I saw a special where they mixed newspaper in with the cow's food. They called it "filler."

I mean how could the Growth Hormones in the beef not carry over to us when we eat the cow?

You are what you eat right?

That could potentially contribute to us being bigger, but certainly not fatter. As far as I'm aware, there is no hormonal changes caused by food, that could encourage our body to store fat. When we have all the excess calories without burning them our bodies store them as fat. Fat and alcohol are big sources. Fat has 9 cals per gram and alchol has i believe 7. Whereas protein and carbs have 4.

In addition, wth more women working and less time to cook, places such as McDonalds and such have been feeding families with junk. It's cheap and fast. This is one of the reasons why lower-income families suffer from poor nutrition and diets.

Moreover, the occupational switch (especially in the US) to a service economy leaves a lot of people with no reason to have to burn calories. Going to the gym takes time, which many people are not willing to invest.

That said, I could care less. I'm in fantastic shape!

More likely the PILL - which is pure estrogen to make a woman's body think it's pregnant...as well as processed food & sedentary lifestyles..

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Wouldn't be growth hormones. They would just give us more muscle. They aren't going to give hormones to cows just to add more fatty crap to the meat.

It's just people eating more, more of which is unhealthy and doing less. Simple.

It's gotta be the fact that most people today don't DO anything... they SIT in their car for the drive to work, SIT on their ass all day in front of a computer working, then drive home, maybe hit the drive-thru for a double cheeseburger on the way home, then plop down in front of the idiot box and watch TV and munch on more fatty foods until they go to sleep, then repeat it the next day. MAN WAS NOT MADE TO LIVE IN A BOX!!! And by man, I mean mankind as a whole, including women.

While we're at it, I'm 5'8 and 130 lbs at about 5% bodyfat or so. Sure, I feel small and am insecure about my size at times, but it hasn't really been that big of a deal. I look bigger than I am apparently, as people are often surprised when I tell them my weight. I am a distance runner, and run anywhere from 40-60 miles a week, so my weight is actually pretty average for a runner. As for bulking up, all that muscle would just be more weight to carry around while running. I don't want to get slower (I'm not sure if I'm serious or not).
