The Age Thing

This is one reason why I'm not ashamed of my age:

When I was a young guy in my early 20s there were some of the very hottest girls I knew, and I am talking THE hottest girls. I noticed several of them had crushes on older men. Example:

One of these older guys would breeze through and talk with us. When he had left, HB9.5 or whatever would frigging MELT. And I (typical youngster that I was) would be like "you can't be serious, you like that guy? He's OLD!". But they would confess their crush.

Now usually these were harmless crushes on married guys and never went anywhere, but I've always remembered these incidents. I decided right then and there that when I got older, I was going to be one of these guys. So I've tried to keep myself in shape and keep a youthful attitude along with my maturity. This is one reason I've always looked at my age as an ADVANTAGE, because I know girls like mature men.

If you're older, single and successful you are a very distinguished individual and you will stand out in the crowd. Most older guys are married. That leaves very few successful older men for the taking. Sure older guys might have a little bit more wear and tear on them compared to the younger guys, but they also have more accomplishments and money. That sets them apart.

These girls were looking at men in their mid 20's. What age of men were your girls "melting" for?

These were girls around age 22-24, the guys were in their mid to late 40s, and in one case I think the guy was even in his early 50s, although I can't recall for sure.
And as Lexington pointed out, they were all fairly successful in their field. Not rich by any means, but successful.
