Recently i have been getting this a lot from girls i have known for a while or girls that have heard that i'm single.

After I have teased them or ignored some of their personal questions
they give me this "That's probably why you don't have a Girl Friend" comment.

usually I ignore it or tell them "Why would i need one?"

but there must be a better response to this.

however hard i try this comment still messes up my vibe and makes me more self-conscious/insecure. how can i avoid this.

sometimes a girl will ask for help with an assignment or to buy something for her. i'll just tell her "No" and she keeps nagging and nagging. until she gives up and tells me "your mean, that's why you have no girlfriend"

if that is not something i should be doing. tell me how u would handle a situation like that.
