So, I ran across this site when looking for a way to get out of the “Friend Zone”. I must say the advice has proven to be impeccable so far… although I haven’t made it to the end zone yet, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
There is the hot little Latina at work that I have been flirting with for a WHILE now… the biggest mistake I made was to let us become friends.
I am a huge flirt. They call me trouble at work and HR has jokingly said they have a hands off approach to me…. I am mostly harmless, but just fell for this one chica… she is from Mexico and just the hottest little thing…
I was reading the article titled Escaping the Friend Zone by Mr. Fingers and I kicked myself repeatedly. Everything made sense… I was doing it all wrong... My focus was on her (borderline obsessive). I would break dates with other women just for an opportunity to be with her. Turned down very potential a55 for fear that she would find out and think I was a jerk. I made my feeling known to her… I made All of the Classic mistakes. I was a total TOOL! She would always say she wanted to hook up, but never panned out.
That was then… in three short weeks I have turned the tide and have her chasing me … somewhat… I have rekindled some of my old flames… one in her dept. the greatest story was I went to the Tattoo parlor with a “friend” of mine who wanted to get a cover-up… I love hanging at the tattoo parlor. There are such interesting and fun people there. I had mentioned to the chica that I had enjoyed hanging out there, but did not tell her the reason I was there. Of course my “friend” had to show off her new tat… and jealousy followed… got to love it.
The last thing that happen is that she went to Mexico last week and said “Be sure and Text me. I will be very busy, but would like to hear from you…” No Problem baby! I initiated ZERO text… I even ignored more than half of the ones she sent… I was reading a post somewhere on here about and they said that they gave her the gift of missing them. Well, that’s exactly what im did . and what did I get for my inconsideration??? When she seen me this morn, she ran to me with arm out and I got one of the best hugs I had gotten from her.
Because of this site, I am getting what I want and giving her what she needs. Man, where have you guys been all my life???
