"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

so I met this girl. She's cute, seems down to earth blah blah. I'm into her. Been texting a little here and there and today I ask if she wants to do something on Sunday. She says "yes maybe, my friend from blah blah and I might do something". I return with "ok". I don't care. She responds with two smiley face emojis. I leave her on read. Do I blow her off till Sunday? Been awhile since I've been on here!

Sure, you can wait. But by then she might sizzle out. It's hard to gauge what the right move to do here is simply because Sunday is a week away. You might have to reengage later in the week like Friday or Saturday and treat it like no plans are set.

A word of advice. Don't set plans for a week later. Do either same day plans, or day after plans.

Perhaps wait to see what others have to say. But I'd go dry until Friday or Saturday. Hit her up again, warm up the plate, and ask her out again for Sunday.

A week in advance is way to long.

Wrong. You don't ask a girl if she wants to do something. You TELL her you're going to take her out.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Work and school.
Bullsh!t. you can always find a couple of hours for drinks or coffee. Also stop texting, make dates and meet women in person. You can not build attraction from texting, you have to be face to face so you can read body language and escalate if you gives you the green lite. You keep texting her and she's just going to get bored with you.

Should I escalate to something sooner? I've already asked about Sunday. Plan was to just ghost her till Saturday. Act like I don't know how to work a phone. I need to work on meeting up instead of this texting stuff. Downfall I've had for far too long.

Text her something like "lets do coffee Thursday at 7. Ill pick you up. "
Her response will tell you everything you want to know. If she says yes then say see you then. Nothing else. Too much bla bla bla will drive her interest down. If she says no then ghost her.

Just asking in general, if one ghosts a girl and if she contacts you multiple times, continue to blow her off but then asks why I won't talk to her, what do you guys respond with if respond at all? Women like mysteries, think I read that on here awhile back. Or am I thinking too much into this?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Update. She flaked. So I blew her off. Last night(some of you might have seen it in another thread) I blew her off after some stagnant convo and she started blowing up my phone. All upset that I was ignoring her. I shrugged it off, she knew I was with people. Today I didn't hear anything for a large portion of the day from her. She made contact with me and I blew her off. She then texted me in a serious matter and got to the point as to why she wanted to talk in the first place. So I entertained it. She wants to hangout she said, she wants to make things work.

Questions arose when she said that because she said she didn't want a relationship but I let it slide because either way she wants to hangout. She then went into depth that she doesn't want my ex to be upset with her because they are friends. Told her not to stress it. If she gets mad she gets mad. She had her time and chance. Tough chit for her. I then ended it with "I'm going to bed"

I think this minimal contact thing is getting to her because we used to talk a lot. I came here and did some reading because I turn every girl I'm into away because too much contact, not enough hanging out. I think she is picking up her slack, starting to chase me. I think I'm going to let her do the work from here on out.

What's your guys and ladies opinion here?

You definitely have to back off. My last relationship turned more into texting and talking than hanging out. Why see you if they can get it all on their cell phone?

I am not saying ignore them, but keep convos minimal and only really if you aint doing anything. If your texts get more, then just call her instead. By texting less, she is going to think you are not caring, or seeing other women. The problem is you set the precedent already, so it might make her think you are just playing games...

Another thing I have found that really works about getting dates... If she doesn't give you a yes, give her some variation of... "If you can't commit to going out, we can get together some other time"... This messes with their head. Women like to be in control and this is you telling them your not playing their stupid games. I have done it 3 times, and all 3 they committed to the date within a couple hours. Basically, you are stating, I am f**king busy and I am not going to tie up one of my free nights with a "maybe".

Sounds like a low quality woman. She flakes and then gets upset because you were ignoring her? Spoiled brat syndrome. Soundslike she is used to getting her way.

After all this, if you choose to see her make sure it is on your schedule, not hers. And make sure she knows she is very low on your priority list

Am I the only one that seems to think her saying "yes, MAYBE......" to the initial offer is low interest? Call me retarded, but I would have responded back with "Cool. You guys have fun" and then bounced.

This is low interest. Not sure how to not see that right off the bat. This girl seems like an attention wh0re and ANY attention you feed her is keeping you in her orbit.

She will more than likely agree to hang out again, after you chase her around, and then she will flake again. You will then come back on here and ask why she flaked. Its because she has LOW/NO interest. Many of these chicks want guys chasing them to only boost their ego.

Stop feeding it and go spin more plates. No harm no foul, just dont respond back again. If she texts you and asks to hang out again, tell her that you will be as such and such place at such and such time. Double book just in case.

It would be a cold day in hell when I text a chick that stands me up. There are way too many out there to put up with one's BS.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I agree with you "yes maybe if..." was her saying ill jump ship when a better offer comes. No matter what her plans are she is admitting she is a flake.

Exactly.

What her response says is "My friend and I are supposed to hook up and fvck but if something happens and he flakes on me, I will let you know. If not, I will leave you in limbo".

Screw that! Next!

Yeah...that's gonna work...uninterested response to a lame attempt.
