"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I was curious as to when it is ok, if it ever is ok, to text message a girl whom recently gave you her number.

I got a girl's number the other day and I was wondering if it would be ok to text message her since she works a lot and I don't know her work schedule.

I suppose I could call her and leave her a message, but I would think that she would respond better with a text message since she can't talk on the phone when she is at work. Any suggestions??

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Personally, I think it's ok to text just to talk and stuff, but if you're asking her out, you better be calling.

Yeah I was just gonna text her to make rapport ya know. I mean I'll call her once I can figure out when she works.

Personally I say that having entire conversations via text is childish. Actually it's kinda stupid since you're probably using a phone. Is this why young people typically have really bad conversation skills; because all they do is used abbreviations when texting?

Here's something to consider; do you believe that you'll do that well in attempting to gain rapport through texting? Do you think that you're the only guy she's given her number two? And guess what these other AFCs are doing with her number? You got it, texting her.

So why not be a man and get rapport with her through conversation? Call her, plan to get together sometime. THAT'S how you go about gaining rapport and separate yourself from the other guys.

Texting is good for sending a quick flirty message to someone you're already dating. Again, not an entire conversation just a line or two without any expectation of getting a reply. Also, if she does reply, there's no reason to answer via text. If she needs to know something major, one of you should actually call.

Better to call - chances are you'll get her voice mail and she'll call you back anyway.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

You build rapport on a DATE and not a moment before. The ONLY communication you should be having with her at this point is to set up the date. Nothing more, nothing less. If she wants to chat with you while you are setting up the date, you need to cut it as short as possible.

My mentality has always been call when possible, text when not. Simple and easy.
