"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

In these modern days and times it seems that every girl loves to text message chat....but i find keeping a text message chat going is much harder than just a normal talk on the phone or in real life...so any tips to having a good text message conversation? or should you stay away from text messages completely?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

The bad thing about texting is that it kills a challenge in a relationship.

Think of it as an electronic leash.

If the girl knows what you're up to at all times - she's going to lose attraction. You have to play into the frame of being a man of social value and having a life outside of her. If you're not exclusive, than you're seeing other babes.

I avoid all texting contact in between dates, because if I gave in and sent messages back and forth it would make me look too available or needy.

Another thing is that you can't see body language or tonality to measure interest level in texting. With texting women can keep a record of what you said and it can be used later to decrease interest level. You want her to pursue you not use you as another one of her girlfriends.

I lost my last f-buddy, because I text too much with her and didn't talk enough on the phone or get her out for a date. As it turned out she had b/f all along - so that's why she flaked the dates, but chatted away on text or phone for her attention - low self esteem needs.

So.. just be wary about texting, same goes with myspacing and MSN/AIM -- make them think you're on a hot date with someone else or that planning some big project or business move in your life.

You're James Bond, seldomly seen and on missions!

I agree all girls seem to love to text. However, i think its probably easier to keep a text chat going. Just remember to keep it like and use C&F, take your time to make a good response instead of rushing out a bad one. Oh and i always just make sure she gets the last text in, its just my thing i dunno why.
