You shouldn't need more than 2-3 message convo to set the date. You're doing way to much, OP.

Respond to her text with a definite place and time when you have a definite place and time in mind. Set the date in as little steps as possible.

for the record, when people ask me what i was doing at X time(such as, earlier today or yesterday or last weekend) i usually say something along the lines of "I was discovering a valuable trick to getting more money at the bank: bringing a gun"
