"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I'm just getting back to the game and my text game is terrible. I could use some pointers. I've just been learning stuff from menwholikewomen YouTube channel

Original text no response then you don't message again

If she doesn't reply to your text don't message for 3 or more days

Keep it short and light

After date send a text a few hours later and say you had a good time but don't get into a conversation if you don't need to but don't ask her out again for 4-8 days

Technology is to settup meets

If she flakes on a date say something like ok cool my friend wanted to make me dinner tonight anyways so that works out then just wait and do nothing till she messages you again

Thats pretty much what I've been learning. Phone game I'm good I just keep it short. But I could still use input

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I for one have just adopted a strict no double texting rule. Ever. It’s disrespectful not to respond. She doesn’t respond, she loses my attention.
So every time you text you want a response? What if it's just a smile face or an end of string type comment?

Just kill texting from your mind completely. Texting is for sending information such as the address for a date. There is no reason to engage in conversation via text. This should not change for any woman no matter what the situation.

My fiancé to this day never gets texts unless it is to relay a specific piece of relevant information. Chatting is done in person or phone calls.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I didn’t mean that exactly. If I make a statement or a smiley I don’t necessarily expect a response. But if I ask a question or call and ask someone to return my call, I won’t chase after them. Period.

Thats a good idea. So you still call them eh. And then you say return my call? Yeah I just need a lot of help with this part of my game. It's a big weakness

Do you keep phone calls short? I like this idea of not texting. Makes things way easier.

Just call them and don't really text. Ok so I work till 11:15 at night usually. So I should probably just do my calling Saturday and sunday afternoon then? I usually have weekends off

I text way more frequently than most and I get great results for the most part. If you know what to text and how to text then you don't need to worry about hurting yourself. You'll help yourself

Don’t overthink it...not that important IMO.
I always call to ask a woman out the first time, soon after getting her number. Hearing someone’s voice helps build comfort and rapport. It also takes more effort and sets you apart from all the lazy dudes who only text.
Also in my experience if a woman will text but you can’t get her on the phone, it’s a sign she’s just using you for attention. A woman who is truly interested will want to talk to you.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

This is good stuff. I was texting huge messages for a while. Just crazy mass messages. So you don't wait that long to call eh? Thing is I work during the week till 1115 at night so I can't call weekdays really

You guys are a little out of touch. You have to establish a conversation with a woman in text. They need to feel comfortable before meeting up with you. I'm not telling you to blow their phone up, but it's just not realistic to get their contact information and immediately try to set up a date. It comes off as desperate, and you're just asking for a flake.

Texting (I use Snapchat) is useful because you can gauge their interest level to some degree. Do they respond quickly? Are they talking with you, or just responding? Will they send pictures? Will they follow your lead in the conversation?

That's one of the main reasons I prefer to text. To screen for interest. You guys make the mistake of thinking just because a woman will meet up with you she's interested. I can tell you from personal experience, that's not the case. I have texted with women who responded slowly, didn't say much, and still agreed to meet. Guess what? We met up and it didn't go anywhere. I learned my lesson, and will not meet up with a woman who displays that behavior in text.

On the other hand, women who responded quickly, were engaged in the conversation and asked questions, typically wanted to meet and things got physical pretty quick.

What's nice about Snapchat is you can see from their score how active they are, which gives you an idea of how many guys they're talking to (in addition to family and friends). The women I deal with, I frequently check their score daily to see how much it increases to give me a better idea of how many people they're talking to, and if they're just looking for attention, or if their conversations are more focused.

This one chick I talked to every now and then (probably 6 months) in between other chicks. I kept going back to her because her score would only really go up when her and I talked, which told me she wasn't dealing with a bunch of other dudes. And every now and then she would post a pic on her story of her and her mother. I put the pieces together that she was introverted, not glued to her phone all the time and worked a lot. All of which were true.

Some of you guys are just throwing darts at the wall until something sticks, which ends up wasting more time.

Well, I can definitely tell you're 32 and have a fiancé.

My advice for anyone under 30: ignore this advice.

Yohami's Rules of Text Game continue to be the best advice out there for texting.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Ignore my advice at your peril. The best text game is to not text.
A lot of young guys meet girls on OLD, unless she already has high interest u need to do some texting.

Meeting her irl is a different story though.

I fully agree that this is the way to do it. It can be difficult to implement such a practice into life.

Some people are phone averse/not good at actually picking up a telephone and talking into it. When I moved to my current city 10-11 years ago, I was making male friends who were 22-25 at the time. Getting my new male friends at that time to talk on the phone was a challenge at that time. During the past decade, some of my male friends have gotten better at this but they are not great.

Some women are not all that great at answering a telephone or dialing numbers to return calls.

Engaging with women over text is fine if she already likes you, and you're already banging her.

But using text to win a girl over? Bad strategy. Totally agree with you. Kill texting, aside using it for logistics. I do advocate phone calls tho if you have a deep, masculine voice. Just keep them to 20-30mins and be the one who ends it.

I think this is where OLD kills most guys. They don't escalate to meet-ups the right way, and kill themselves by over texting her.
Totally agree with this. Women talk, men take action.

Yeah I get told by girls I'm great on the phone.

But my text game is super bad.

Did you mean it's difficult to just do the phone thing and kill the texting game? Or did you mean it's difficult to implement the text game?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
