"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I had a short 2.date the other day. Everything goes along very well. Joking, flirting, etc. By the end of the date she suddenly becomes serious and says that she is not in love with me. I admit I was confused by this. I just replied "yet", and moved on. My gut feeling is that this girl likes me. Was this a test?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

It could've been a test, or she may have encountered circumstances in your interaction that reminded her of some misgivings/bad juju with a previous man, and felt compelled to address your feelings up front.

Maybe she laughed and had some fun with an AFC who fell in love with her after a date and she felt some regret about LJBFing his a$$. I've sensed this with women before, if you're the first guy she's enjoying hanging out with after a bad LTR ending or something the like, they can suddenly get scared for *seemingly* no reason. Everyone compares women to cats, I think they're alot like horses too.

You were right to push through it and go on unaffected. I'm not saying don't bang her, but play it slow with this one. Life has taught me that's the way to go anyway. Assume she wants you as a FB, but doesn't want you to catch serious feelings and get all puppy dog on her. This happens more often than you'd think.

And if she's worried about you falling in love with her too fast, then for god's sake stay off that phone and NO TEXTING. See her in person as you see fit, but the phone is only for setting up face time. Guys blow it with the stupid text messages all the time.

I think you are on to something. All her guy friends confessed to love her after her last relationship ended, when she rejected them they all disappeared.

A short 2.date? enlighten me what that means.

If this was only a first or second date and she is asking something fvcking weird like that.....I mean it is ridiculous "I am not in love with you" on a fvcking first date?! She sounds like a screwball.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Yes it is weird, that is why I made this post. My first thought was that this was just some crazy test to see how I reacted. It is really no big deal. I'm just here to learn.

We are all learning.

I think you answer to her was quite good.
But I would have just looked at her quizically - and said "Are you alright?" "Did soemone put something in your drink"? "Because, ______, who says I want your love"? "All I want is for you to go up to the bar and buy the drinks.....it's your round"!!

LOL.

I still think that is one of the most fvcking weird things a woman has said.

That is how to deal with this nonsense...or just get up and walk away.

Maybe I am just getting tired or jaded, but woman who say bewildering things like that usually go on to create HUGE problems.
Surely we should be investing our time and energy in women who do NOT play head games, do NOT act poorly or confuse us, and do NOT say wacked out stuff which requires a new thread on MM for interpretation.
