Need some advice on weeding out **** friends. Most are obvious piss poor friends, slowly weeding them out. People suck nowadays, need to get out and find some better males to hang with. Fortunately most people I have in my circle I would not even loan my chainsaw to. (Inside joke about chainsaw).

Consider the ones who ask a lot from you, and offer little.

No ****-testing necessary, just look at what's happened in the recent past.

Yeah, you know who the bad ones are already. They show themselves.

I remember a quote from a movie, can't remember which movie though:

Guy 1: You know how to tell if you can trust someone?
Guy 2: (waits for answer)
Guy 1: Trust them.

Most people show themselves pretty quickly. Unless they are BPD or whatever.

Yup...
I've been weeding out friends too. Not so much my male friends but the female friends i had. I no longer confide in females or rely on them for emotional support.

The best male friends I find are ones who are better than me in some aspect of my life that I'm trying to improve...or ones who've been thru similar drama as I have and have made it out ok.

Be on the lookout for jealousy too...it tends to show itself when people close to you notice that you're making steps to improve your life.
