I just went back to the gym almost two weeks ago, after over a year of inactivity and eating carelessly. I'll be going to my cousin's place for a family Xmas dinner, which I wish was happening on my cheat day, but isn't. What's the best way to work around this? Should I make that day my cheat day, or should I work out and follow my diet that day, with the exception of that meal? I don't wanna get off course, since I'm just beginning to get back on groove. I wanna build the kind of body I only dreamed of having years ago.

overanalyser alert. again.

.. Okay, I'd just posted up a really pr!ckish post on the general theme of 'your attitude needs changing' but instead I'll be nice since it's christmas and everything. :)

Make your family dinner your cheat day, have fun and eat whatever the hell you want. One day is not gonna ruin you by any stretch of the imagination. You're only just getting back into it, it's not like you're dieting for a show or anything.

Lighten up mate, and don't be so obssessive compulsive. It's Christmas, enjoy the festive atmosphere and the company of your family. If you're sensible for the rest of the year one bad christmas dinner won't mean a thing as concerns the quality of your physique.

If you believe in God then pig out.

If you don't then stick to your diet. :)
