Telling the difference between low interest and shyness...

When a girl is shy, it usually means that she is having trouble contributing to the conversation or interaction. It usually means that she isn't interested in the conversation topic at hand. Shyness is usually just disinterest caused by her own insecurity. The best you can do is just change the conversation topic and just *hope* that it ends up being one that interests her more. Shy women are immensly difficult and often boring anyway. Most girls we think are "shy" are really just plain boring. I think the best you can do with these types is isolate them and ask personal rapport building questions about their family/study/work, and find interesting stuff about them to empathise on or joke about.
Usually effective when asking about their childhood - everyone has a fondness for their junior days. Once she's talking she'll feel close to you (as shy people struggle at parties/gatherings feeling left out).
Wash, rinse, repeat until you f*ck her. If she still shows no personality, just next and move on.
