"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Sorry, I'm horrible - A really good friend of mine is getting divorced after only a year of marriage, and I knew it wouldn't work out, well before he proposed. Aside from feeling sympathetic toward his plight, my next biggest feeling was "I knew it would happen - I told you so."
I never felt it was my place to say, "don't do it." The closest I came was when he asked me if he should propose, I said, "if it doesn't feel right, don't get married just so you can preserve the four years you spent with her up to that point."
I saw a lot of signs that it was going to be rocky or about to crash and burn.
We're pretty open with each other, but I'm not sure I should detail what I saw that tipped me off. I want to do this in the spirit of helping him avoid a future mistake, not gloating over how right I was.
It should be noted that he talks and acts like his usual self - he seems more relieved that it's over than sad or anything. Financially, it doesn't seem like he's gonna get raked over too badly.
Anyone here have advice?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

So you want to tell your friend "I told you so" for what reason exactly? This sounds very childish to me. Do what you want but dont come back to me when it goes bad because Ill just say " I told you so"

What kinds of signs did you see? Can you elaborate here so we can all learn?

Also don't tell your buddy unless he asks for it. Because if he doesn't ask, even if you say something he might be in denial and your words will fly right by him. But if he does ask, you can ceratinly let him know so he doesn't repeat his mistakes.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
