All I am saying is the TSA agent should be severely reprimanded for what he said, IF HE SAID it as was stated in the article, if not fired. Yes you can say anything you want (within reason) while walking down the street as an everyday citizen. But that was not the case here. He is a govt employee, in uniform, in a position of power, who can decide whether that girl gets on the plane or not. That is a pretty powerful position to be in. I don't know about you, but when I am going through security at an airport, I can't say I am on edge, but I think everyone is a little nervous or antsy going through the security line, talking to the agents, putting things through screening, etc. No one wants to say or do the wrong thing because they fear being detained, missing the flight, or worse being arrested. So here you have a naive 15 year old girl, traveling without her parents, who knows next to nothing, being told she should 'cover up' by a grown, adult, govt worker with the power to have her arrested?Danger said:More of the same arguments, with my exact same answer as above as well. I'm not sure what it is exactly that you are arguing against. Whether people *should* be allowed to do it? Is that what you are arguing against?
Just no. Wrong on so many levels I don't even know where to begin lol. The guy should be fired no questions asked.
Yes most of them are idiots. But being an idiot does not give a govt rep in a position of power to say what he said. Besides the fact she was dressed totally fine. It wasn't like she had on a tight little top showing cleavage with short shorts on. Not sure how many times you have flown into LA or Vegas? But I have seen 1000 x worse on girls.Fatal Jay said:Teenagers are idiots, I was one, everyone else was too. Teens think they know everything, and yet have the same logic as a new born infant.
