Tall women online?

I do a lot of online dating. This thread is not to discuss the merits of it. If you don't do it, this isn't the thread for you.

I seem to see a ton of taller-than-average chicks online. Now I know that the overall average of beauty online is lower than in clubs and many bars. 2s through 6s mostly, very occasionally a 7, almost never an 8.

Many, many women are 5'8-5'10 online in my area. This is significantly taller than the average height for women. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this, or if it's just me or my area.

And if so, does this mean that taller women have a harder time finding dates and so have resorted to online? Are all the petite ones snapped up? I know this is all speculation but I'd like to hear your comments if you do online dating or if you have a theory behind this apparent phenomenon.

I think that many of the women who shop at Lane Bryant also do online dating, just abnormally-shaped bodies which you can't see in the pictures they post.

Yes you are right.....Women on the net are generally more intelligent and tend to be Professional,this is the stamping ground of Northern European stock, these Girls also tend to be Taller....In the future this will change as the short but more intelligent and studious Chinese start to assert themselves and develop confidence in On Line Dating.

Perhaps the taller women have fewer options in the fact that most women like men that are taller.

I know a guy who's 6'10, and his wife is only 5' and change. Rarely will you see a woman who's 5'10, tall, with a shorter man, or even equal height. So, there's less available men for these women. So, they resort to online dating.

That's my theory. Men don't care the height of women, but women do men. Most women I should say.
