"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Features of an attention seeker.

They can be the baby type, the me-monkey type or both.

The Baby:
This gal is unbelievably immature. While she has a freshness and vitality about her, she acts like a spoiled brat much of the time, and her moments of lucidity are few and far in between. It’s easy to be enamored of her playful behavior – at first.
- She is very self-centered
- Emotionally under-developed. She cries and throws tantrums, often breaking things she owns.
- Insecure
- Needs a lot of attention. Demonstrates a lot of “Look at me!” behavior
- Poor decision-making. Spends all her discretionary income.
- Careless and very forgetful
- Is messy and disorganized at home
- Impulsive behavior
The Me-monkey:

This woman is truly in love with herself and believes that all men should worship her. If you don’t worship her, she will be challenged, but only until she realizes you won’t give her what she wants – blood sacrifices or a temple erected to her. Once that realization hits her, you’re out.
- She’s typically gorgeous – and she knows it
- She pampers herself to the extreme
- She doesn’t care at all about what’s going on with you and your life
- Talks incessantly about herself and her friends
- Superficial – to the extreme. Obsessed with image
- Typically has poor relations with her mother
- Can only function when she’s the center of attention and the focus
From the dating black book.

Some people may have these features to some degree. It will depend on you if you're willing to put up with it or not.

Now my compilation is complete! :)

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

this is a very good post. There are a lot of girls like this, and a lot of guys who are like this too. Guess what, they date each other. Infact, most artists (musicians, painters) are pretty psychotic if you ask me. The best bet is to find someone who is a recovering psychotic and is trying to clean her ways or just someone who is almost emotionally stable.

what an excellent resource! I've been a bullied all my life. at school, at work, by women, even by my own family.

http://www.bullyonline.org/workbully/bully.htm#Why

is practically my life story, line-by-line. Maybe I should focus on this problem before trying to be DJ. no wonder I can't attract a babe. No babe wants to date a victim.

Blue, great insight - I don't know how I missed this post back in August - I must have been in a coma!

The only thing I would change in your analysis and discovery is that these traits of manipulation and deceit should not be attributed to "immaturity" or "insecurity", rather they are the fruits of SELFISHNESS and self importance, false pride and arrogance!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Maybe both?

PRL I don´t know about you, but all people I dealt with and that had those traits mentioned were immature and insecure. No one is equal, maybe your case was different.

I believe that selfishness is related to immaturity. Mature people are giving and respect the others, they´re not "me monkeys"!

Actually Selfishness derives from immaturity. I have learned that because Attension Wh0res often act and behave like a child they often do not take RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ACTIONS like an adult would. Yet when bad things happen to them they end up being and actling like the perfect victim.

They are too concerned about their own life and precious fregile emotions then to worry about how their bad behaviour will affect others. Empathy towards others does not EXIST. When the relationship is over because she moved on to another guy she will walk out of your life all happy like a child while not feeling slightly bad or guilty for her actions. NO EMPATHY, NO RESPONSIBILTY, NO PROBLEM!

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
