Whereas most men in The Biz really won't start to take flight until they've been around for awhile*, the pinnacle of an actress's career is almost always in her late teens and 20s. For every Julianne Moore or Meryl Streep, there are millions of Tiffany Amber Theissens and Mischa Bartons




*Theo James is but one recent example... Dude fell off the radar/pretty much had his career derailed by Divergent for over a decade, had to wait till his late 30s-all points beyond(When he'd gotten less pretty, and more grizzled)for audiences to start acknowledging that he's really got chops as an actor, via his work in The Monkey and White Lotus

Mischa Barton's looks went downhill young. She looked unimpressive by her early 30s.
