Support building for allowing general refugee status for *any* Afghan woman - time to learn Pashto, boyos!

I think I had made a posting about this a while back, but with the Fall of Kabul, it looks like it this will now become a reality:

"I'm really concerned about these women," Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) told a House Armed Services subcommittee on April 25. "I think everyone on this panel is very concerned about these women...But I think there is something we can do. And that is to create a refugee status for any Afghan woman who wants to leave the country and is seeking asylum in our country.

Gosh, it seems like every single immigration binge in American history has been a sausage fest (indeed, Louis XIV realized the situation and personally sent his French colony "marriageble women", some of whom are my ancestors: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King's_Daughters). This could be the start of a new paradigm!
