Women fall for men more often, but guys fall a lot harder. Also, a lot of times the woman gets custody of the kids, as well as the house. The court system basically just took everything the man had been living for.

Ha! Talking about the financial windfall and all....I don't know if some of you remember this, but there was a thread linking an article from NYC or somewhere....about a "starter" marriage. Basically from a female angle where they kicked around the idea of trying out marriage to see if they liked it. It's almost like they'd conceded that the world is full of beta chumps and they knew they'd never stick with them. Funny stuff. We allow it to happen to us, though, sadly enough.
